1947 Chev ½ Ton Panel Street Rod

All steel. no rust southern truck.   Beautiful paint and ColorChrome flames by Retrobuilt in Nixa. MO.   There is a new GMZZ 572 ci – 620 HP crate engine.   Highway 22 wiring kit.   Vintage Air and heat.   Power Steering.   Wilwood Four wheel power disc brakes.   Big Block Chevy Hugger Headers.   GM 4L80E transmission – cooler fan.   GM cruise control.   Traction bars.   9” Ford positraction rear end.   Tilt Steering.   Have all the receipts.   Participated in 2010 and 2012 Hotrod Power Tour. Hello,

I think this may be the car I learned to drive in. Did it come from the Dallas/Fort Worth area? If it is the same truck it was originally built by my Dad in Cleburne, TX. He put a Camaro front clip under it with a 396 big block. He ended up selling it to a guy named Maurice up in D/FW somewhere. I believe Maurice had the flames put on, I'm not sure it was even painted when Dad sold it. It was just trimmed out in orange. This was back in the early 90s. Is it still for sale? I am interested, it brings back a lot of memories.
