Hello. this is a very rare Corvair. the 1968 Monza 140. One of 6700 made. Very unique as it is hot rodded. Basically I will list a few things done. I will definitely forget a lot. I have spend a lot of money and a lot of love and hard work on this car. The parts that went on the car were all bought and sent over from Clarks Corvairs in MA and the mechanical work done by GS autos.  The car is hot rodded with a customised 360 Holley carb. and racing set up manifold. It also has wider wheels. A quick list of things we have done:-Changed alternator-Preztronix flamethrower coils-Electronic ignition-Electric fuel pump-New clutch-New bushings-New pulley-New belt-New master cylinder which I hand painted to protect from rust-New manifold covers (shrouds)-New front leather seats-Electric installation for the engine-Chromed engine cover-Lovely wheels-Engine bay lights-Recent spray job. No cracks. bubbles. etc. -Blue tinted windscreenI also have a lot of original books and some spare parts.
Like I mentioned before. lots of love. money and hard work went on this car. I am just ready for my next project. I am not looking to get my money back. I wouldn't anyway. but I am not desperate to sell so no insulting offers please. The enthusiasts that have or have had classics will understand what I mean and appreciate what I am selling. Hi, could you please tell me if it is the 4 speed manual transmission (most 66 and 67 models were 3 speed or power glide 2 speed). And does it have a tacho. Most late 60s seem to have been Corvair Corsa versions with upgraded instrument clusters and I wondered if this is one of them. It looks like a great car. Thanks, Mike
