This Camaro is not an old 1970 Camaro with a new paint job. it is a complete body off the frame restoration that took many hours to complete. While it is not an original numbers matching car. it is an excellent restoration of a 1970 Camaro which now has all the performance improvements offered today which were not available in 1970. Everything done to customize this Camaro is outlined below so that you can clearly see this 1970 Camaro has been revitalized for 2017.



Build Details



Exterior:


1.       Paint color is Vibrant Lime Green with Black racing stripes.


2.       Arrow straight body with excellent door. hood & fender fit.


3.       Steel cowl hood.


4.       Smoothed firewall & new inter fenders.


5.       Frame was removed and fully restored and painted.


6.       New painted side mirrors w/remote on driver side.


7.       All chrome & stainless in excellent condition.


8.       All new windshield. side windows & back window glass.


9.       Back window tinted with dark limo tint.


10.   Door and window seals upgraded to modern sealing products.


11.   All the exterior lights. turn signals. & horn work. Headlights are bright LED.


12.   All exterior badging is brand new. plus new black grille & chrome grille shell.


Engine Compartment:


1.       350 engine with less than 100 miles.


2.       Hydraulic roller camshaft kit with aluminum roller rocker arms.


3.       Set of long ceramic coated headers.


4.       Edlebrock 750 carburetor with w/e-choke.


5.       Complete polished serpentine drive unit.


6.       New aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.


7.       Coated black radiator cover & custom made front valance.


8.       To accompany the new engine. numerous engine compartment parts were also updated:  Edlebrock performer intake manifold. Tuff Stuff water pump. HEI distributor. red top Optima battery. Fuel pump. Plug wires & spark plugs. polished plug wire holders. Chevrolet polished aluminum valve covers. MSD red coil. & Spectre black air cleaner.


9.       New power steering box. GM remote pump. remote reservoir with all new hoses.


10.   All new water/ heater/AC hoses/ fuel/ vacuum hoses. & new horn.


11.   New modern Autowire wiring harness replacing 1970 wiring & offering relays & fuses that can operate today's systems in a restored vehicle.


12.   Brand new set of polished billet hood hinges.


Drivetrain:


1.       Brand new 700r automatic transmission.


2.       New balanced drive shaft.


3.       New 10 bolt rear-end with posi-traction.


4.       Chrome rear-end cover.


Suspension/brakes/exhaust system:


1.       New front upper & lower A-arms & ball joints.


2.       New Hotchkis suspension products including front 1. 3/8” sway bar. rear 7/8” sway bar. tie-rod ends & sleeve adjusters & sport rear 1. 5” lowering leaf springs.


3.       New set Hotchkis 2” front dropped spindles and 2” lowering front coil springs.


4.       New Hotchkis/Bilstein gas tuned front & rear shocks.


5.       Complete set of red Energy body/suspension mounts.


6.       New front disc brakes with Wilwood red calipers.


7.       New rear drums. wheel cylinders. & shoes.


8.       New Wilwood black master cylinder.


9.       New brake lines throughout the brake system.


10.   Complete from headers back exhaust system with dual Magaflow mufflers and chrome tips.


11.   Brand new Nexen N5000 Plus 17” tires & 17”x 8” US Mags with gray centers & red caps.


Interior/trunk:


1.       Brand new upper black dash.


2.       Complete new Vintage A/C system and yes. it blows cool.


3.       Complete set of 6 electric gauges made by New Vintage USA plus new gauge bezel.


4.       Entire interior flooring has been covered with heat protection mat to control heat & sound.


5.       New front to back black floor carpet & Z28 mats.


6.       Brand new black head liner & new door panels.


7.       New polished rear-view mirror.


8.       New Black sun visors.


9.       Brand new B&M famous Hammer floor shifter.


10.   Seats reupholstered in black with contrast stitching to match the exterior paint.


11.   New seat belts front & back.


12.   New Kenwood in-dash sound system with USB/blue tooth & rear speakers.


13.   The interior is finished off with a Billet Specialties black 14” D shaped “Formula” steering wheel.


14.   Trunk detailed with trunk light. black carpet. a back of seat upholstered panel & Z28 black/red floor mat.
