1971 Chevrolet Chevy Cheyenne C-20 Pickup. Single original owner.

I am selling this sweet truck for my uncle who is the original owner.   This pickup is his baby. He has taken great care with it and has done a complete restoration.   He has original parts for everything.   If you are looking for a car show quality pickup-this truck is for you.

Original owner. Documented restoration. Body-off paint job. Original 350 cu in rebuilt engine. 700 R-4 O. D. transmission. Pwr disc front brakes. Full gauge package. Pwr steering with tilt. Like new condition in and out. Original paperwork included. plus much more.

Approximately 169. 00 total miles. nbsp; 3. 00 miles since painted. Engine 44K since rebuild. Trans 35K since rebuild.

Complete with sales order. warranty protector-plate. factory build sheet and letters from the dealer.   Also. owner's & driver's manual. A complete file with invoices documenting most all restoration items. service etc. Nearly all of the restoration parts are General Motors New Old Stock (NOS).

Engine: Professional rebuild of the original 350 cu in engine by Grimes Automotive Machine Co in Alpharetta. GA.   All invoices included with truck. Grimes automotive machine is listed in the stock car/ hot rod hall of fame for their engine work.

A few highlights of the engine rebuild: Line hone main bearings. Torque hone block cylinders. Chamfer & polish crankshaft. Shot peen rods for extra strength. Complete engine balance. Surface heads . 030 Harden valve seats with three angle valve job. Oversize valves installed: 1. 940 intake & 1. 500 exhaust. Roller tip rocker arms. Custom high energy ignition system. Holly carb. Shot peen & Magnaflux heads. Machine for oversize valves & studs. Assembled in "quite room" by one specialist. Mild cam installed. Heavy duty oil pump & drive. Edlebrock 'performer' aluminum intake manifold. New Valve springs & Locks. Run engine in dyno: peak torque @4100 RPM 402. 8 ft lbs peak HP @ 4800 RPM 349. 1

Transmission & differential: The stock turbo 350 three speed transmission has been removed and a GM 700R-4 four speed w/OD transmission installed by Chevy dealer. The differential gears changed from stock 4. 10 to 1 ratio to 3. 54 to 1 ratio for highway cruising. An adapter to correct speed & miles to the new transmission installed. Transmission has oil cooling system.

Body Work: All four inner fenders/wheel housings replaced with GM NOS parts.   Both door sills & drivers side cab corner replaced. The body was removed from the truck with the exception of the cab to prep & paint. 250 hours spent on paint and prep.   $7K+ cost. New GM cab mounts installed at this time.

Body trim exterior: All exterior body trim replaced with GM NOS parts. All trim bolted to body. New GM weather seals on windshield & rear windows & vent windows. New GM window channels & seals installed. Original grill with vertical bars in grill painted black. Horizontal bars highlighted in silver. The only exterior parts not GM NOS are the two door mounted mirrors and the rear bumper. nbsp; These parts are new after market. The front bumper & bumper guards are original with new re-chrome work.

Interior: All new sound insulation installed under the new carpet.   New seat foam under a reproduction seat cover. New dash pad. Headliner is original. An original refurbished tilt steering column installed. A new instrument cluster with tachometer. A new glove box. Matching carpet installed on kick panels & bottom of doors under the door panels. Two new matching carpet mats. Two new matching arm rests. A new gas tank cover. Steering wheel is GM super sport type in matching color. All glass is Soft Ray type tinted.

 I've had a couple questions about the condition of this vehicle. It is in car show condition. It has been restored. Restoration was over $17k. My uncle is selling this truck because he's gotten too old to take it around. This is the kind of vehicle you
