Exterior-  Car was media blasted and stripped to bare metal and all rust was repaired with correct patch panels.   Car was very clean and had little rust as it was a garage find and had sit since 1988 in a climate controlled garage.   Here is what was repaired.   New front passenger NOS fender. nbsp;both rear quarter panels from seam down. nbsp;trunk drop offs. both wheelhouses. rocker panels were repaired with new metal and drivers floor pan up front was replaced and repaired in the back.   Trunk was good as was rest of floor pan and so where the doors.   Some usual rust around front window and dash area was repaired as well but it was minor.   All body work was done and Car was primed and blocked 4 times and is laser straight with hundreds of man hours making sure it was straight.   It is painted with DuPont Chroma base Paint in a 1968 color  called Fathom Blue.   Car is originally a rare British racing green special order color. but I don't like green and decided since it is a resto-mod to go ahead with the blue.  All new Chrome bumpers. nbsp; side mirrors. all stainless trim was good and re-furbished.   All new bulbs. lights. nbsp;emblems. rubber. etc.   Hood was added and is a 2" Cowl induction hood from AMD.   Car comes with stock hood as well that is painted and perfect as well and is stored in the box the cowl hood came in.   All nuts and bolts are new as a master body bolt/nut kit was used to re-assemble the car.   Tail lights. RS lights on back pan and gas cap are all refurbished.   Side markers are new. All receipts on all parts as I am sure I am missing a lot of items.   Everything is new or refurbished.   Windshield and back glass are new.

I have not had the car professionally appraised. but it carries $35. 00 insurance by my insurance company who inspected and appraised the value.   I would consider this a 1-. 2+ car (per Hagerty) with potential to become a 1 with some minor work.   So Items keeping this from being a $40. 00 + car as this is a true RS(see Hagerty. and other pricing sites for this information. Side passenger glass front and back is not perfect on passenger side. and in the back on drivers side. (Glass kit is $450).   Heater core needs hooked back up or removed completely( I don't drive in fall or winter. so I disconnected it).

5 year project and is a beauty as it won its first and only car show at SCC in Burlington.   Only has about 500 miles on it since it was restored.   I ran the numbers and it is a true rare 68 Camaro RS with a rare color combination of the British racing green and black interior and 4 speed H. O 327.

Sell of car will also come with if you want it.   Original hood painted perfectly and other original parts.

Come to Iowa and see the car in person and I will show you all the receipts for all the work done and you can see this beautiful and timeless beauty in person.   This car will just keep on increasing in value as time goes on.

Good Luck!  This car is for sale on other sites. so if you want it you can hit the buy it now. otherwise I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.
