Short Bed Pickup

Up for auction is a 1952 Chevy 3100 Shortbed Pickup.

This truck has been chopped 4 Inches and lowered. It has a early nova front clip and nova rear end. Motor is a Crate SBC V8 with a 350Turbo Trans.   It has power brakes. Edlebrock carb. value covers. and high-rise intake.  The stock gas tank has been removed and a fuel cell has been installed underneath the bed and has an electronic fuel pump. The interior has bucket seats. carpeted floor and headliner. center console with B&M shifter and aftermarket gauges.

The motor has a Gear-Drive timing set up which has that "hot rod sound" everyone is looking for. It has headers with side pipes coming out each side. Tires are skinny up front and wide in the rear. The skinny tires in the front make the truck feel like it has power steering. Very easily to maneuver in parking lots at low speeds.

Motor sounds good and runs strong. Transmission shifts smooth. The truck is a lot of fun to drive around town. We get a lot of attention everywhere we take it.

The truck was built and painted as a Frame-Off restoration 7 years ago. The paint looks good overall but there are a couple chips/ scratches that have been touched up. The roof does show some cracks where it was chopped which you can see in the photos. Front and rear glass are in good condition. Side glass will have to be added if desired. Tires are in very good condition. Bed is stained plywood. The underneath of this truck is very clean. No visible rot and rust. The truck cranks right up every time. This is a turn-key driver.
