1965 Mercedes Benz 230 Ambulance. Custom coach work. extended estate chassis. there were approximately 400 made. and very few exist outside of museums. Used originally in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada (picture of car when in use attached). after it was decommissioned it was driven by an enthusiast until 1985 who took it on holidays and camped in it. This would have been quite a sight pulling into the campground!
It has been parked since then and will need complete restoration. The car is complete with rear jump seats. Ambulance lights and siren. spare tire and tool kit.
Glass is generally good. front windshield has fogging to corners.
Drivetrain is complete and original. in unknown operating condition. I have not attempted to start it. and needs a new key cut. It is missing the headlights. these are the same as any Mercedes 230. In fact most parts are interchangeable with the sedan version.
There is substantial rust to the undercarriage and will need repair to the floors and other areas. Patch panels are available for the sedan. most of the work required is in floors and undercarriage however.  
Interior surprisingly isn't that bad considering. The blue leather seat backs are in decent shape. driver bottom needs replacing. Wood dash components are all there. Original radio and siren switches.
A very rare and unique vehicle that deserves to be restored!
Will sell to anyone anywhere in the world. shipping is the buyers responsibility. I will included the old title and build sheet. and will provide a bill of sale in my name to the new buyer.
Probably not a surprise. selling the car as is ;)
