Up for sale we have a 1968 Chevy Camaro. This was the second year for the first generation Camaros. There wasn’t a whole lot of change from the ’67. The one we have for you is done in Electric Blue Pearl and is accented by the black interior. Under the hood it has a big block mated to automatic trans with good driver options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. When you look down the side of this Camaro it has good lines. The body is solid with good fit of the panels. Everything is covered in the Electric Blue Pearl paint that has a deep rich shine and is accented by the SS Hood. At the time of the resto they also added new bumpers as well as other new chrome. All the stainless looks good. It appears to have new weather stripping and when you look at the glass it all looks good as well as the stainless. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Coy Wheels and tires.
Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’68. It’s all done in the classic black and provides a very nice complement to the exterior. It has the correct console and horse shifter. The bucket seats. carpet. and door panels all look new as well as the headline. When you look at the dash it all looks correct down to the radio.
Finally. we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood this Camaro is powered by a 1970 model 402 Big Block that has been bored 40 over. It has a comp cam 510 lift 282 duration roller. Also it has a Holley Carb. Aluminum Valve Covers. and a chrome breather. An Aluminum radiator was installed to keep it cool. The engine is mated to a 350 Turbo Trans and a 10 Bolt Rear End. The brakes have been upgraded to Power and it has Power Steering. For exhaust it retains the stock manifolds and a set of flow masters. When you look at the bottom of this Camaro it appears very solid and has had new pans installed in which they did a very nice job. Along with the new pans it has new brake lines. gas tank. and fuel lines.

If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle. sell it to the next high bidder. or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
