A very well-presented and authentic package makes this 1956 Chevrolet 210 sedan an instant crowd pleaser. And its value price will have you grinning ear-to-ear.


This sedan is pure sophistication with the jet-inspired ornaments on the hood. unique single-year grille. and sweeping side trim that is arguably the most handsome of the Tri-Five era. Of course. it also helps to have a car that looks this good. The single shade of Nassau Blue is a correct color for '56. and its added shine today comes from a quality restoration during this sedan's lifetime. You already know that chrome isn't cheap. and the 210 is literally covered in it. So one of the first things to make sure is when shopping for one of these icons is that all the brightwork is complete and present as it is here. And don't forget to check out the details one this one. Everything from whitewall tires to correct 1956 headlights it all gives you a true feeling of distinct value.


The blue theme continues on the inside. and it's now joined by a well-coordinated white. The white vinyl seats with comfortable textured blue cloth inserts has that kind of cool that could only come from a '50s design. The dash and steering wheel also match this nicely. And we especially like how the door panels utilize this color scheme while also bridging the color gap with the carpeting. The overall effect is a well-coordinated total package. Everything you love about these icons are still in place. This includes the factory AM radio. fan-style gauge cluster. and dual-cowl style dash that resembles the Corvettes of the era. This one is so authentic. you'll even be showing off the original-style spare and the instructions still pasted in the trunk.


Part of what makes these cars a legend is that the Tri-Fives were the ones to introduce the Chevy small block V8. So you'll be happy to lift the hood to reveal a nicely detailed engine bay that features a 265 cubic-inch motor. Decked out in Chevy orange with that huge factory oil bath air cleaner on top. not only does this legendary powerplant look correct. but also we suspect it could be the original motor. Even more impressive is that the mileage is believed to be true. We currently don't have the documents to confirm this. but it's pretty cool to think this Chevy might have only averaged around 500 miles annually for over six decades. Plus. the low mileage and careful restoration is why you have such a clean undercarriage. And while you're checking out those photos. you'll also see the addition of thick sway bars front & rear. This. combined with the Powerglide automatic transmission. makes for a classic that's also quite a nice cruiser.
