Let Me start Off By Saying I Am A Retired Private Party Collector And Hobbyist Here In South Florida. I Am Not A Dealer Nor Do I Play Games Or Use Smoke And Mirrors To Represent A Car. Each Car Will Be Correctly Described Without Any Surprises. All Vehicles Are Either From My Personal Collection Or Belong To Friends Of Mine Who Ask Me To Market Their Vehicles For Them.   

This Particular One Belongs To A Husband And Wife Who I Have Known For Many Years And They Have Owned This Vette For The Last 24 + Years. During That Time (And Not Many Miles) Many Things Have Been Done Each Year To Keep It The High Level Car It Is.

I Do Need To Tell You The Story of Ole' Blue And You Will Then Understand Exactly  How It Has Been Cared For All The Years Of Ownership And What An Amazing Car It Has Been. Actually It Has Become Part Of Their Family.

Our Story Begins Around 24 Years Ago In South Florida Where My Friend Who Had Lost His Wife In An Auto Accident Was Finally Talked Into Bringing His Newly Acquired Vette To A Car Show Which He Had Not Been To Since His Wife Had Been Killed. Trying To Get His Act Together with Something To Do He Had Recently Purchased A 65 Coupe Thru An Estate Sale Six Or So Months Earlier. But The Little Blue Coupe Sadly. Just Sat In The Garage.

 His Friends Were Relentless. And Stayed On His CaseTo Come With Them To A Car Show. So Finally He Gave In. And Brought The Little Blue Coupe To Their First show Together. During The Afternoon He was Standing Alongside His Car And This Group Of Ladies Came Walking By And One By One They Remarked How Nice His Car Was. Except For The Last One Who Stopped. Said Hello And Struck Up A Conservation. At That Point After Talking For A While He Asked Her If She Wanted To Sit In The Car and She Responded With A Jubilant Yes. After Talking They Exchanged Phone Numbers And She Then Returned To The Rest Of Her Group. He Did Call Her And They Met For Dinner. It's Amazing How Things Happen As She Had Also Lost Her Husband Do To Heart Problems And It Was Right Around The Same Time As He Lost His Wife.

Since That First Encounter At A Car Show. They Started Dating And Were Married 5 years Later And Have Been Together Ever Since And Ole' Blue Has Been There To.

Ole' Blue Turned Out To Be A Well Documented 2 Owner Car Which After A Little Work Turned Out To Be Something Nobody Would Have Guessed. Not even Cupid Him Self.

It's Now Time For Someone Else To Enjoy Ole' Blue As A New C7 Is On Order For Our Corvette Couple And Yes It Is Blue. But It Has Not Yet Been Named.
