We have another 1967 Ford Ranchero up for grabs.   This specific vehicle comes with a very nice running and sounding 289.   It now has an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor on it.   I am not sure what model.   It is backed by an automatic transmission.   This Ranchero runs and drives!  It is equipped with power steering and power brakes.   The motor feels strong and sounds throaty.   This will make for a fun project that you can drive while you fix her up.

 

Exterior - The brake lights and rear turn signals work.   Front headlights and front turn signals do not work.   The body seems solid and straight with very little rust.   The tailgate has a dent in it.   Other than that the exterior is pretty good.   There are minor dings here or there but nothing major to note.   As you can tell from the pictures the underside of the car is solid and clean.   There is a little surface rust but other than that it appears to be in good shape.   Overall the exterior is nice and will make a good canvas for a new paint job.

 

Interior - The carpet is in decent shape.   The seat itself is in good shape.   It just needs to be recovered to look perfect.   The trim is in good shape.   All the gauges appear to be working.   The fan for the heater still blows.   The door panels and headliner are in decent shape.   The automatic shifter trim is missing.   However we do have two extra bucket seats and a center console that will go with the car.   The windshield wipers do not currently work.

 

We have driven this vehicle on a side street.   Overall it drives good.   The brakes need adjustment but they are there and the vehicle does stop.   The steering is good with no excessive play or noises.   It does need fluid in the power steering pump.   For the little bit we drove it the suspension felt good.   There are no excessive clunks. bangs. etc.   engine is the shining star here.   It feels good and strong and sounds mean.   The car just needs to be checked over. basic maintenance done. etc and it should be ready for the road.

 

We have tried to describe the vehicle as best and accurate as we can and list the things that need attention.   However we could have missed some things and it is possible what is working today may stop working tomorrow. This is the reason this vehicle is sold As-Is and may have signs of wear. tear. fade. rust. age. weathering and may require repair. service. replacement. and maintenance of any and all components.   We have not looked into repairing the things that don't work.   It could be something little like a fuse. dirty connection. or it could need new parts.   We just haven't had the time to look into it.

 

In saying all that this is by no means a "junk" car.   It is actually in good shape for its age and originality.   With a little work on the exterior and interior this will be a very nice ride!  The motor fires right up and runs strong.   The interior is usable as it is but new seat upholstery would really change the look.   The brakes and steering need a little attention but it doesn't appear to be major.    But remember this is a used car that is coming up on its 46th birthday. but that's what makes it cool!  The odometer reads 6. 49.   We assume it is 106. 49 but with a vehicle of this age we cannot be certain of the exact mileage.

 

Overall this is solid car that would be well worth the effort to put a little time and elbow grease into.   It runs and drives and the motor is sound.   This will make a fun project that with a little maintenance can be driven on the street while you fix her up.   Please contact us with any questions.   Thank you!

      Warranty

      Payments

We accept Certified and Cashiers Checks. Bank Wires and credit cards. All funding and paperwork must be received as soon as possible and within no more than 3 days of auction close or we reserve the right to re-list or sell to any other qualified buyer. Winning bidder must confirm his winning bid with a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. Balance of purchase is due to the seller within 3 days of end of auction.  

 

     Taxes and Fees

"Buyer" is responsible not only for knowing their own states' laws regarding taxes and fees. but also remitting the proper taxes. fees. and documents for their state. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered.  

      Title Information

Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing. there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive.

      Finalizing Your Purchase

Winning bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 2 business days. we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
