This 914 a high compression Euro motor # GB006373. Matching # per COA We are pleased to offer this 1973 Porsche 914 2. 0 with a matching numbers European engine # GB006373. The exterior is Summer Yellow. the is interior black.  We have the COA which confirms that this Porsche is a USA version fitted with a Euro higher compression engine. The Summer Yellow color is also correct. and the black interior is also correct.

We have recently restored this Porsche 914 to above driver level. This 914 was stripped. all interior was removed. doors. hood and trunk removed. engine and transmission removed. We also removed the aftermarket A/C and replaced the front trunk pan with a replacement from Restoration Designs. We also replaced the battery tray and the center section of the rear trunk. We checked all over and any other rust issues were addressed. The jacking points are solid. This is now a rust free restored Porsche 914 2. 0.  We then had the exterior repainted in the original Summer Yellow. The Exterior shows very nice. the panels are straight and true. We replaced the carpet. recovered the dash. replaced the windshield. replaced all rubber weather seals. and much more.

The engine is a European higher compression engine which make this a rare Porsche 914. Somehow this engine was fiited and sold in the US as a USA spec 914. We have the COA to confirm. We have just replaced cylinders and pistons. and rings with the stock flat top pistons. We also had the heads resurfaced. and valve guides replaced. The intake guides were fairly difficult to locate as they were 12mm. USA version engines are 13mm but we found them after a while. The engine was then assembled with all new parts and then fitted back in the car. This 914 has had a Reed camshafts fitted and also has been modified to dual carbs. The clutch was also replaced. All brakes are good. suspension is good. Its about as nice a 914 as you will find in this current market.
