This is an amazing 1976 Ford F-150 Ranger 4x4 factory “High Boy” pickup truck featuring a beautiful new professional interior and exterior restoration.   She's a fully- loaded beauty equipped from the factory with Air Conditioning (ready for a service. but complete). Power Assist Steering. and Power Brakes. and the high-line Ranger trim package.   This is an extremely straight truck with beautiful bodywork and fresh two-stage paint in factory-original M-code Wimbledon White finish. It is also in exceptionally well-maintained daily-driver mechanical condition. as well as being from a dry high desert climate. with no presentation of rust. Truly a gorgeous truck that looks to me like it just drove off the showroom floor. Get in. turn the key. and go. Details as follows:

Body:

The truck began as a very straight and completely rust-free high-desert factory High Boy. still wearing original paint.   The truck was then dis-assembled for restoration including the removal of all the exterior aluminum and stainless trim. the grill surround and grills. all lights. reflectors. and marker assemblies. and all glass including the door side glass. wing window assemblies. front windshield. and back glass.   Of course all the weatherstrip was removed as well. The bumpers. bumper brackets. and wheels were removed. along with the entire interior.   The factory side-mount tool box was removed. as well as the doors. fenders. and hood.   The original Wimbledon White paint was then sanded down or stripped off as necessary. and the body panels massaged to the beautiful condition you see today. The truck was then treated to a high-end 2-stage RM Diamont M-code Wimbledon White paint job. using multiple base and clear coats give the truck a beautiful and deep finish that exceeds what it came with new. The interior sheet metal including the dash. floors. and cab interior was also completely repainted and restored as well.

The front chrome Sport Bumper is new. the rear step bumper and brackets restored. and the factory “sport” side mirrors. door handles. door locks. antenna. bolts. etc. restored or replaced as needed. The aluminum grill surround. and the optional fancy Ranger side- and tailgate trim was cleaned. polished. painted. and clear-coated.   While not perfectly as-new. the trim is beautiful. as you can see.   The grills were restored. the headlamps replaced. the tail light lenses and bulbs replaced. the side marker assemblies and bulbs replaced. and the front marker lights and bulbs replaced.   The bright trim around the tail lamps is also new. and the emblems were removed and restored. as were the wiper arms.

The front windshield is new. the back glass new. and the door and wing windows are originals in great condition.   The glass gaskets and seals were all replaced.   New door window felts and wipers have been installed along with new window channel. and new door weather stripping to finish out the soft seal parts.

The bed is also completely rust-free. and has been treated to a brand-new Raptor high-end spray-in bed liner.   The side toolbox opens and closes like new. and is in beautiful condition.   The tailgate is likewise in beautiful condition as well. The underside of the truck is rust-free (other than minor surface rust). and the wheel well openings. axles. drivelines. etc. are nicely detailed to add to the exterior beauty.   The floors. rockers. frame. cab mounts. corners. etc. are all exceptional and rock-solid.

Panel and door fitment are very nice; we perform all the alignment before the paint work is done and blueprint the panel mounting areas for an optimum fit.   The side glass windows roll up and down smoothly; albeit a bit tight still with the new window felts. channel weatherstrip. and window wipers.

Interior:

The interior features a fully restored and repainted metal dash. restored and dyed dash pad. full interior body-color repaint. a new molded carpet kit. new seat upholstery and foam in factory pattern. restored sun visors. restored rear view mirror. restored headliner. restored fancy Ranger door panels with new armrests. and more.   The gauge lens was removed and polished. and the gauges cleaned.  The gauges. turn signals. brake lights. headlights. heater. wiper. etc. are all in proper working condition.

Mechanicals/Drivetrain:

The engine is the original 360 2V V8 in excellent turnkey running condition.   The engine sounds healthy and is very responsive. with fresh tune-up parts. fluids. and filters.

The factory C6 automatic transmission has been serviced. and shifts as it should.

The front and rear axles are the original Dana /Spicer units with 4. 10 gears.   The truck is equipped with power assist steering. and power brakes. both of which are in good order.  The miles show as just under 49k; while I cannot definitively say this is the actual mileage. I can say that the truck runs and drives as though this is the case. and the condition prior to restoration supports this as well.

The truck drives nicely for a big High Boy. and tracks straight down the road. and steers well.   It stops well and straight; the truck is a lot of fun to drive.   She turns heads wherever she goes.

The wheels are restored steel 16” wearing nice and big Toyo Open Country radial tires and rare factory hubcaps.   New Rancho RS 5000 shock absorbers round out the suspension at all four corners.

While not a nut-and-bolt “Concourse” restoration. this truck is absolutely gorgeous and is going to make someone very happy!

Payment. Title. Shipping:

Clear title in hand. matches VIN exactly for export. inspection. etc.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible. it is in fact a 41-year-old classic truck. and therefore being sold as-is. without warranty or guarantee expressed. written. or implied.    While the truck may appear as-new. it is a restored used vehicle. and not perfect; you can expect minor flaws as appropriate of a truck of this age.

Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via cash. deposit into my Bank of America account. or bank wire transfer.

Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times. ultimately the choice must be yours alone.   I would be happy to discuss the restoration of your vehicle. I just moved into a spacious 16. 00 square foot facility and have the room. equipment. and talent to handle most any restoration.

Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.    I may be willing to end the auction early for the right offer.
