1956 Chevrolet Nomad

Please read the entire add before contacting me.   This is a project car and can NOT currently be driven.   I'm listing this car for a friend who is extremely busy. any questions will be answered by me on his behalf.

For you consideration is a very solid 1956 Nomad. this car was recently pulled from storage after sitting for 12 years in a garage in the heart of wine country. Sonoma Ca.

The body has been off the frame. the frame was completely cleaned and painted gloss black.   The rear springs were moved inward to allow for a wider tire. new leaf springs and bushings.   The front end was completely redone. tubular arms. rack and pinion steering. disc brakes. new bushings.
The body is very straight. the only rust to mention is two very small spots on the lower fender extensions.   To the best of my knowledge the only thing missing is the front seat and it will need a steering column.   All stainless is with the car and in great shape although some has the normal pitting.

The car has the following all of which are new!
> Brand new. never fired aluminum headed ZZ4 Crate motor. Demon Carb. Jet coated shorty headers. HEI Distributer
> Rebuilt never ran Turbo 350 trans
> Tubular A-Arms. all new front suspension. rack and pinion steering. Disc brakes
> Griffen Aluminum radiator and shroud (New in box)
> All new brake hardware. master cylinder. booster
> Chrome radiator support
> 9" rear-end
> New urethane body mounts
> New gas tank. sending unit (New in box)
>New tinted windshield
>New complete wiring harness (New in box)
>New vintage air (New in box)
>New soft seal weather stripping

There's thousands of dollars in parts alone!  Ive posted as many pics of the car as possible and believe it speaks for itself.   Please keep in mind this is still a project. however it is a very desirable 56' Nomad with no costly rust repair needed.

The car holds a clean. clear title and is currently non-oped with black and yellow plates with the first three letters being "MAD" which is very fitting for being a Nomad!
