This is the way this car was ordered from Pete & Hitch INC in Bridgeton. NJ. It was produced on December. 8 1970; seven days behind schedule for a total of $3858. 94. This is 1 of 1. 06 produced EVER. A very similar example (black on black boss 351) sold at Mecum this January for $100. 00. this is not the same car rather a good comparable as to what this car is worth fully restored. It does have a new master cylinder and starter. The engine is not the original. Here are some specifics: WFD-D2 Rear End Tag with the correct “N” cast in center section D0AE-J Engine Casting Number (non original) I have a friend that has correct everything minus carburetor for $9000 ready to go D1ZF-12127-DA Distributor Correct dip stick Non original Holley 4bbl Power Steering Power Front Disc Brakes Center Console with Clock AM/FM Stereo Radio I have correct NOS valve covers for an extra $1000. 00 The car has an excellent foundation with rust free floors. rockers. and torque boxes. The panels line up nice. and everything shuts tight and sounds great when closed. The rust is prevalent in the trunk (very small spots) and the lower 1/4 panel drop offs / in front of the rear wheels. Where I photographed my hand on the passenger side quarter there's a spot where the bodywork is rippled. where the quarter panel meets the roof at the seam. The engine runs strong. The glass in the car is original to the car. The windows roll up and down nice. The original radio works great and all gauges work as they should.
