Up for auction is an awesome restoration project! An 1950 Oldsmobile 2 door hardtop! This gem has already been through a rotisserie restoration approx. 17 years ago by the previous owner. It was in a minor accident in 2005. and taken to a body shop for repairs but was unsuccessful due to financial error. I have it now and looking for a good home. This Olds. has a lot of potential. vehicle seems to have a 1970's chassis with front disc brakes and power steering. Under the hood its powered by a 455 Oldsmobile engine from the 1970's and a powerful automatic 400 transmission. This gem has been stored indoors since 2005. When this Olds. came to us it had all the trim removed from the body. so I painted it in black primer and attempted to place as much trim as we could as to make it a complete car.  The body is strait. interior is ok but not perfect and runs great.  This baby has an upgraded wire harness. Radiator has a small leak and driver side door glass is cracked. Some trim is missing and what is on vehicle is held on by minimal nuts (all we could find). This baby is solid with no rust!!! Won't take much to make this project into a dream. We are a restoration shop and are more then happy to assist on getting a paint job done for a reasonable price after purchase. Please ask any question before bidding! More pictures available upon request. Happy bidding

The Holiday debuted in 1949 on the 98 series only. Not the 88. 1950 was the first year for the Holiday model in the 88 series. They used the Holiday model designation for 2 and 4 door hardtops that debuted in 1955.   As for the engine. F was used from 1968 through 1972. 68 through 70 without serif after F. 70 through 72 followed be a serif (squiggly line). I have it now and looking for a good home.
