Full build by Eddie's Chop Shop in Orangevale CA. Ed Umland of Eddie's Chop Shop. (that's Me) has been featured world wide for his over the top builds. I have been featured on multiple magazine covers including Hot Rod Magazine.  I have built many award winning customs and hotrods.  I am a land speed record holder in several different classes. All in cars I personally built.

This car helped to launch my career. It helped build the reputation for doing over the top outside the box builds I have become known for. It has been featured in multiple magazines over the years. Some can still be found in back issues. but you can view a great online article about the car here.

Warning! This is not you average model A. It isn't for long Sunday cruises up the coast! This is a loud car with way too much power for your average car guy. I built this car to be an over the top Hot Wheels type of car without all the cartoony stuff you see being done on a lot of the TV shows now. This car is streetable but you aren't going to drive cross country in it. It is loud. low and difficult to see out of. I have been driving this car on the street for over 10 years without any issues though. It may however get you a ticket for driving without fenders. being too loud etc. I am a 5'11 225 lb guy. and I fit suprisingly comfortably in the car but if you are 6'4 you may be a little tight! I am a big believer in driver comfort. The car is heavy stearing. light switch throttle and a clutch on top of it. Have I scared you off yet? No okay then carry on reading.

The car has a custom built tubular frame with roll cage. Motor is blown injected 540” bbc. The blower is functional. when I say it has hidden efi people misunderstand and think it is hidden under the blower. The efi is hidden in the top manifold. I built this out of an old Enderle SBC manifold that I cut up. The car starts and runs just like any normal car and with the efi you get a lot better driving characteristics than you would otherwise. Transmission is a four speed. 9” Ford rear with Detroit locker. The radiator is in the rear of the car and plumbed underneath. I spent several years completing all the hand tooled leather in the car. The roof alone took more hours to do than some have in their entire build. The roof comes off easily and is so awesome it could be hung on the wall as art. Rear suspension is a triangulated four link. This car was not intended to be run as a drag car and the triangulated four bar has better street characteristics and was able to fit into the tight packaging. This is not to say you can't run the car down the track. with some proper slicks instead of the whitewall cheaters it would be plenty fast for most peoples tastes without getting into a dedicated race car. I have also built a 34 Ford that is more purpose built track/street car. It runs 7's and can be driven to the track. This car isn't that car but could be made to be more of a track car if someone desired. The car has a flat clear coat on the body. it was brushed to give it a stainless tell look then cleared over it.

This car is not for everyone. it is unique and awesome and nothing like you will find anywhere else. It is not a RatRod! This is a high quality build. I am only selling this car to continue funding my obsession with land speed racing. The sale of this car will help me chase my goal of eventually going 400 mph. Please be respectful of the car and the sale. I am not some guy flipping a car to make a buck. This car is a huge part of me and my business. Whoever ends up with this car will end up with a big pc of my life and passion. The car is currently registered in CA and has a clean title with the original VIN#
