If you are looking at this auction. congratulations. your search for a mint low mileage M3 is over. This is a very clean 56. 00 mile car. however with the slight mods it is not a concours piece. It was imported from Japan in early October where it lived a careful existence. All service documents will be included and verify the accuracy of the 90. 40km's it has covered (~56. 00mi). It has never seen salted roads like any European import would have and consequently has no rust. None under the front or rear side windows. none in the trunk. on the sills. under the car. none anywhere. Production date for this beauty is September of 1988. and it was imported legally. exempt from DOT and EPA regulation due to it being over 25 years old. It has not been registered yet in the US. though all paperwork to register it will be provided. This includes the original Japanese title. Customs documents and receipt of duty paid. The car has some mods:
-Original radiator replaced with a much better aluminum example with an attached water temp sensor that reads on the dash mounted gauge. One can also turn the fan on and off at any time with a remote pointed at the gauge. though it kicks on automatically at around 92 degrees Celsius.
-Suspension has been upgraded. Bilstein shocks front and rear. coilovers. Swift springs.
