Added more pictures of the car. and some underbody shots the best that I could get without the car being on a lift.   Also - the car was purchased from Gloria Willis on June 20th. 1970 from Cates Motor Company in Madisonville. KY - I have a the original Motor Vehicle Bill of Sale. as well as a copy from this transaction.   The Pace Cars. after the Indy 500 event. went out to selected dealers. and in this case. Cates Motor Company received CAR #35. which was then sold to Gloria.   Some years after she bought the car. she married John Darren. and they divorced in 1981 and the car was transferred to her husband - John Darrow.   I have a copy of the original Motor Vehicle Transfer document - showing "Wife to Husband". along with a copy of the Vehicle Title during this time period.   The car was then sold. and bought at some point by the previous owner to myself. who restored the car.   In 2007. while at a car show. the original owner (Gloria Willis) happened to be at the same car show. and signed the trunk (Underside).   Here name at that time was Gloria Butts. and her signature is still on the underside of the trunk.

Also. the car took 1st place at the Oldsmobile Nationals scoring 975 points out of 1. 00 in 2007.   It also won best of show in its class at the same event.   The car is solid and its a dream to drive.   It really turns the heads of the public!
