Current customer rating: (427 votes ) based onMust sell my baby. No work and lost my storage when father in law just died and I have to remove from garage
1970 AMX 2 seater. Red with Black factory C stripe. 360 V8 GO PACK four bolt main engine. Borg Warner Super T10 4 Spd (so I was told) patterned after Muncie Rock Crusher. 3. 55 Posi track rear end. This was an older restoration with PPG and clear coat I was told. The only major rust I know of is RR Quarter panel and is in a picture. I have not plated to drive since 2003. Car ran great except for bad carb. This is the second factory rebuilt Motorcraft carb and just a poor crappy design . Gas will leak into intake costantly. 1969 AMX used Carter AFB carbs and that is what 1970 cars need. An Edelbrock 4 barrel would be just right since it is patterned after an AFB. Interior was replaced years ago and in good shape. This is a factory Whale tail rear spoiler and repo front air dam spoiler. The hood is a functioning ram air induction. The aftermarket scoup trims need to be fitted better. The gas gauge and temp gauge works once and a while. Something to do with 12v to 6v converter module. The gas tank was good but needs the filler neck resoldered because it leaks when full. Brakes were good with DOT 5 silicone fluid. Front disc and rear drum. The engine ran strong but I felt it needed a rebuild. seemed to use a little oil and probably has 115. 26 miles on it. It has aftermarket older radio with Kraco speakers. I have a over the counter AMC Edelbrock aluminum intake that needs bead blasted and the engine has factory aluminum valve covers.
Buyer will responsible for local pickup and all delivery expenses. This car will not drive you home. Gas is stale and carb is problem. I don't like to sugar coat a car for sale. I will sell with no reserve price and low starting bid. This will make somebody a good rare musle car
Good luck bidding
