1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to review my auction. This 1969 Z/28 Camaro in Factory Daytona Yellow is a gorgeous car. This Z/28 comes with the original Muncie M-21 transmission and completely rebuilt rear axle.   This car has undergone a meticulous frame off. rotisserie restoration. OEM parts were used in the restoration or the original parts were restored and tremendous detail was used to refinish the original factory parts in their correct colors. This is a Show Car quality Z/28. This is an original. "REAL" (X-33) Z/28 with style trim. The “X3” crayon mark located on the upper right hand corner of the rear seat (bulkhead) area was preserved before the interior was painted black.

The paint is the original Daytona yellow with black stripes. The car is coded: 711-black standard vinyl interior. Options include: Z/28 package. power steering. power front disc brakes. cowl induction hood. center console with gauges. tinted glass. front and rear spoilers. rear bumper guards. rally wheels with authentic Firestone wide tread white letter tires. I possess a clean Florida title for the car.

If you are in the market for an absolutely beautiful Z/28 with all the difficult bodywork and assembly work completed. and all that remains is the interior completion and a 302 engine. this is the one for you!

The trim tag has never been removed and the factory hidden Vin stamps are present and match the vin on the dash.

The car was not an original rally sport car from the factory. Everything has been converted to replicate the rally sport option.  Fenders. tail pan reverse light. holes in the trunk. fire wall grommet hole.

This Z/28 has undergone a complete frame off rotisserie restoration. Rust repairs were made on the floorboards. driver's side toe board and to ensure this car was solid and rust free. The car was painted locally here in Tampa. Florida and has a beautiful Daytona Yellow paint job.

Every single nut and bolt has been replaced or re-finished on this Z/28.

The interior of this Z/28 was restored and painted prior to the new underlayment and carpet being put in place.

The trunk area was restored. primed and finished with splatter paint.

This is a Black Standard Vinyl Interior car from the factory.

The car comes with the two front bucket style seats. They will need to be recovered in order to match the quality of the restoration the car has undergone. I also have the back seat frame. The original seat fabric was removed and the frame has been powder coated.

Paint Condition:

I would give the paint on this car a 9/10.  The paint has a few very minor chips that happened during the reassembly process.  

The paint has a very MINOR chips that occurred during the reassembly process. Minor means less than 1/2"! These MINOR chips are located: around the driver's side door lock. on the passenger side inside rocker panel (again less than 1/2"). the other two are on the cowl (where the windshield wipers go through the cowl.  

If this would help anyone. I have a contact in Kansas (zip code 66502). who has a DZ302 block that is date coded for a January 69 car. The back has been magna fluxed and is a standard bore block. The price is $3. 00 firm.  

Based off some of the questions I have been receiving. I will clarify a few things. The Firestone tires are reproduction tires. The car has been painted Daytona Yellow. to match the original factory color as stated on the Trim Tag.
