nice clean example used at weekends attending many classic car shows.
Keeps up with modern motorway traffic with no problem.
Automatic 4 speed! Gear box change gears nice and smooth
straight six cylinder engine. multi point fuel injection!!  Very smooth. lenty of power and torque starts first time keep right temperature. Just worksas a Merc engine should
front & rear brakes & callipers overhauled.

The Sun roof isworking ok
all internal features work fine (except the gear indicator cable isbroken I think.                             
Mechanically sound
all interior in very good original condition.
Good tyres.
Body work very solid. A True classic very rare this days.
Great investment for a car enthusiast who wants to put in a bit of time andeffort in.

Windscreenwater jet foot pump packed in. so it's had an electronic one fitted.

Period mw/lwradio fitted.

TheMercedes-Benz W108 and W109. styled by noted automobile designer Paul Bracq. itwas built in Stuttgart in what was then West Germany. rom1965 until 1972. The 108 and 109 Chassis Mercedes Benz vehicles are the lasttruly hand-built S-Class Mercedes vehicles (Aside from some current AMG models). The108 and 109 vehicles were also the last vehicles with the famous classic “Mercedeslook” – stacked headlamps. curvy bonnet lines. and a very large front grille. To this day. many people can still recognize a 108 or 109 lines asdistinctively Mercedes. This Mercedes is the 250SE with the 2. 5 litre fuelinjected engine and an automatic gearbox.

A few querieson the odd wheel cap. it's a genuine new replacement which is now painted inthe correct colour.
