1969 MAGNIFICENTLY RESTORED CORVETTE COUPE

 This Corvette was built Nov 4. 1969 VIN: 194379S734480 It was originally finished in the most sought after color: LeMans Blue with the Bright Blue interior. It has been completely restored to well beyond show standards.   The restoration took over 2 years and over $60. 00 to complete.   It is a numbers matching car with the exception of various interior components which were all replaced with new units.   This is not a painted to match interior as is found many times  in restorations.   The interior is all new from Corvette America and all matches perfectly.   You will not find a more beautifully restored Corvette anywhere on the planet!  The following lists some of the features of this highly optioned car and restoration where applicable:

 350 CI Engine / 380 HP (300 as delivered from the factory). THM400 Automatic Transmission. 3:08 Posi-trac Differential. Air Conditioning. Power Windows. 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes.  Power Steering.  Tilt- Telescopic Steering Column. T-tops.   Less than 500 miles since  rebuild.

 Numbers matching 350 engine which was rebuilt by Jeff Taylor Racing.   The engine was balanced and blueprinted   using all new Eagle components with a balanced rotating assy of crank. rods and pistons.   Heads were totally reworked adding screw in studs. ported and polished.   All new valves and Competition Cams valve springs were matched to the Competition Cams cam and lifters.   Engine was run in on the dyno and produced nearly 400HP.   The engine stamp casting was not disturbed so the engine appears stock externally.   The intake manifold was replaced with a Weiand stock reproduction aluminum intake.   Original cast iron manifold is included.   All new reproduction aluminized 2. 5” exhaust system.

 Engine compartment was totally rebuilt with all new or rebuilt components.   New DeWitt reproduction radiator looks exactly as the original but cools 30% better than stock.   All seals and moldings replaced.   All hoses replaced with reproduction correct parts.   All new AC components: condenser. evaporator core. all hoses. drier. etc.   Original compressor with new bearing assy.   New vacuum actuators installed as needed. all new vacuum hoses. all new vacuum relays and switches.   Electric head light conversion added but retained the vacuum canisters and hoses which look original but works perfectly every time with this new electric system.   All new electrical harnesses installed.   New starter and relay.   Q-jet carburetor rebuilt/reworked by Cliff's Quadrajets to match the engine and runs amazingly perfect.   Distributor rebuilt by High Performance Ignition (Dave Feidler).   New spark plugs and wires.   All new chrome shielding.   New tachometer  and speedometer cables. Engine compartment is show quality perfection. New fuel pump. high flow water pump and thermostat.  

 Numbers matching THM400 Automatic transmission rebuilt using all new heavy duty components.   Retains original shift points and firmness with much additional strength.

All front suspension totally rebuilt.   All new bushings. ball joints. tie rod ends. power steering components.   All components bead blasted and repainted original colors with epoxy paints.   New stainless calipers and new pads.   All new stainless brake lines.   New  correct mastercylinder  & power brake booster.

 All rear suspension totally rebuilt.   Correct trailing arm assemblies are totally new!  New correct stainless sleeved calipers and pads.   Original leaf spring rebuilt.   Differential totally reworked by the no. 1 differential specialist: Gary Romadei.   New posi-trac. new gears. new bearings. new side yokes.   All U joints replaced with new units.   New Radial T/A tires.   New fuel tank. straps  and hoses.

 Body has never been wrecked and was a California car with no rust whatsoever found during disassembly.   Body taken down to the fiberglass and blocked back to perfection using PPG products.   Finished in original PPG LeMans blue and finished in multiple coats of clear by Unique Auto Refinishing.   The final finish is phenomenal!  All stainless components polished to mirror finish by Classic Stainless.   T-tops totally rebuilt with all new components and seals.

 The interior is equally as detailed.   All the plastic components were replaced with new units from Corvette America.   The Tachometer and Speedometer were reconditioned by D&M Restoration. T&T steering column rebuilt by Steering Columns. Inc.  All gauges were replaced with new correct units.   All lenses are new.   All new console and components.   All new power window components.   New carpet and new compartment boxes and lids were installed.   Seat belts were remade as new and correct by Snake Oyl. Original radio was rebuilt and modified to current production standards and ohms.   It was amped up and drives new Pioneer speakers that fit in the original locations.  Everything appears original and correct.   Seats were rebuilt by Al Knoch and new foam and seat covers were installed with new headrest foam and covering.   This interior is perfect in every way.

 This car is simply the most beautiful Corvette you will ever find anywhere.   It drives perfectly.   This is the best of the best! Massive file of receipts to document the restoration and parts acquired.
