The most desirable/collectible Impala SS is the 1996 model year because 1996 is the only year the Impala SS came with a center counsel-mounted shiftier. analog gauges with a tachometer.

I am the original owner of this 1996 Black Impala SS with grey leather interior. Vehicle has only 2. 83 original miles as of 05/2017. Completely stock & original except the battery. Everything works. Parked & stored indoor on a lift 4 feet above ground (no rust. under body is like new) with dual covers covered most of the time. Suspension raised most of the time. warm up every 6 months and drives around blocks at least once a year.   Never seen snow or rain.   Few years ago had oil changed. cooling & brake flushed.   Car is almost new as 21 years ago when came out the dealership.   If one wants to come by to see in person. vehicle is in South San Francisco. California.

Note: There is no modification of the front grill. the red bow-tie is only a removable decal.
