The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is one of the baddest-looking street machines of all times. But finding one this unique is the true treasure. Not only has it been in the care of the same family since the 1970s. but also it has been given a thorough and correct restoration. which makes it a stellar 'Stang with a story to tell.



This pony car was born the cool water shade of Acapulco Blue. but as the large photo book will tell you. it has been a long journey back to the deep blue ocean you see today. This coupe has been in the care of the same family for most of its lifetime. and they are the ones that made the large investment in 2011 for the full restoration. The result is amazing paint. uniform gaps. and an overall pride of ownership. But more than just a nice story. you love this Mach 1 for all the sporty details. The hood alone is a great aggressive piece with its large scoop. hold down pins. and full blacked-out treatment. Then. add in more features such as the chin spoiler. side stripes. and speedy fastback design special for 1969 - this is a full intimidation package right down to the GT wheels.



Ford was going upmarket with the Mustang at this time. and a great way to showcase that is with a pristine white interior. We light colored vinyl cleans up in a snap. and the black carpeting hides any dusty shoes that might enter. The woodgrained steering wheel matches the paneling on the dash. console. and doors. which all adds to the upscale ambiance of the Mach 1. In total. you'll love the investment that was made in this coupe. because it looks like a time machine taking you back to 1969 with all the correct details. right down to the AM/FM stereo. In fact. the most noticeable modern upgrade is one that you don't see. but instead you feel it. The restoration included the addition of a modern R134a air conditioning system.



This M-code Mustang left the factory with a 351 cubic-inch V8. so it's great to see the believed to be original one so nicely presented still under the hood. The engine bay has an exceptionally tidy presentation that looks correct right down to the Ford valve covers. And when people marvel at how pristine everything is. you can pass along that the second owner believes the exceptionally low mileage to be accurate. In fact. you can really see the level of detail and how few miles have been put on since the restoration just by the state of the red oxide undercoating in the undercarriage photos. But even how nice it all looks in our showroom. a Mach 1 like this was meant to be out on the open road. The V8 inhales deeply through a Holley four-barrel carburetor. and it exhales with authority from the stainless dual exhaust. It also has the right driving features like the three-speed automatic transmission and a more highway-friendly rear end ratio. When you add in power steering and front disc brakes. the result is a great any time classic.



This is the coupe that turns heads and has a story to tell It even was even originally ordered out of the Charlotte Ford district in 1969.   Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction. A $500 Paypal deposit is required immediately upon selecting the Buy-It-Now option. All international purchases must be paid by bank wire transfer in US Dollar funds only.

Once we have received the funds. we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
