I have always wanted one of these cars. and was able to get a hold of one.  Today I am so busy with work and life its time to get rid of some of the toys.  I have owned the car 6 years and never really drive it.  The car runs and drive fantastic and I'd feel comfortable with anybody flying into Las Vegas and driving it home to any state adjacent to Nevada. The suspension works properly and will have you smiling the entire time you drive this car.  When the valve cover gaskets were replaced. I snapped a photo of the inside of the valve cover as I was blown away as to how clean this engine was internally.  Most people that drive these old 116's and 107 complain about sloppy steering. but not with this car as all the steering components have been replaced.  Unfortunate when the car was in the shop having these repairs done. they didn't wait  for the car to come all they way back up after lifting it. and caught the tire on the fender.  It basically took the paint off.  The fender is fine. but has some slight surface rust where the paint was removed.  A photo has been added.

While the car is very presentable now. it has some rust as its a mid-west car.  Id drive it for a few years and start putting money aside to address the rust.  The dash. door panels. carpets. and head liner are in excellent condition.  Nothing is faded like so many of these cars you see on here.  When the new dash was installed. the center air door was replaced as well.  Today the heater / AC is not working properly as I think there is a vacuum leak somewhere in the system.  You can easily pay $20. 00. 00 for one of these cars and end up with one that needs everything I have already replaced.  While I could fix the front fender and get the climate control up and running again. I would just have to pass the cost on to you.  I'm trying to keep the reserve low and not fiddle with things.
