For Sale due to lack of time to restore! Citroen HZ (Diesel model with widely used Indenor/Peugeout XDP85 engine). This is a 1968 version which I bought 2 years ago from France. In that time I have amassed a set of spare parts for the restoration. The engine was running when I bought it.

Spare parts include: Body Parts 1) 2 Front triangle new panels for above the front wheel arches. 2) Rear offside rear fibreglass wheel arch 3) 2 x Rear metal 1960's take off wheel arches that could be restored/repaired 4) Spare windscreen and front door glass sets with rubbers 5) Spare headlights. lamps and covers (although all complete on the van 6) spare bumpers. Engine & Gearbox Parts: 1) New block liners. pistons and piston rings and cylinder seals 2) Engine Gasket set and water pump repair kit 3) New clutch plate Suspension: Complete set of 6 NEW shock absorbers for this model.   Exhaust: VGC take off diesel exhaust box. Interior: Spare Drivers seat and floor panels. Brakes: 1) New flexible brake hose set 2) Rear set of new Brake shoes Wheels: 4 replacement Michelin part worn tyres and 2 new inner tubes Manuals: 1) Engine manual 2) Vehicle user manuals 3) Parts manual for this model.

Other Parts: Citroen Petrol 1973 (essence) Wiring loom. starter motor. engine cover.

VIP VIP: It is missing a front nearside wheel hub after a friend offered to take off the cover. took it to his friends garage and his friend threw it away when he left it there! Rigging up a wheel dolly to allow the van to be moved around and winched onto trailer/truck. A replacement hub can be sourced from HY SPARES.

My view of what panels are still needed: From Citroworld Holland: Spare wheel cover. 2 x repair panel sheets (for inside rfear wheel arch). Welding that will be needed includes rear nearside rear chassis rail. repair panel welded in (lots of example on youtube of repairs to these areas on vans in a lot worse condition).  The front wheel arches look restorable but you may prefer to replace with new fibreglass ones. Various welding repairs will be needed but on the whole the van is the right side of restorable. The experts tell me that the 1960's vans are made from better quality metal than the 1970's vans.

The history of the van: it was a one owner van until he sold it to the dealer that I bought it from. It has all the necessary French paperwork for it to be registered once restored.

Hi just seen your advert and was wondering if you were selling your back doors and, if so how much you would be selling them for..
Many thanks Gill
