1985 Porsche 928

For Auction is my 1985 Porsche 928s project car. This car does NOT run or drive.   Motor cranks over but does not start.   I bought this car a year ago not running and just have not had the time to mess with it.   I do not know why it does not run.   This car has been off the road for quite a while.   The plate that is on the car is from 2007.   The previous owner put some parts on it to attempt to get it running but never got it running.   You can see a new fuel pump. fuel filter. and left ignition coil.   Fuse box is in really nice shape and does not look all corroded.   Tires are in good shape but someone put blizzak winter tires on it.   The interior is in nice shape for a 928.   The drivers seat has a small tear on the bolster.   The dash has some cracks. Rear seats are nice and not torn.   Headliner is in nice shape.   Sun roof motor cover leather is coming off.   The car has chips and dings all around it.   The passenger front fender and bumper cover are damaged.   The passenger front turn signal is broken.   The passenger rear tail lamp lens is cracked.   There is a rust hole in passenger rocker panel the size of a 50 cent peice and small one in drivers side floor about the same size.   The left 1/4 panel has a small crease behind the wheel.   Some surface rust on back edge of rear hatch.   Glass is all good.   Power windows work. pop up headlamps work. front wipers work. horn works. and 4 way flashers work.   Radio turns on and fan blows on all speeds.   The battery does not hold a charge.   I have not tried the sun roof.   One of the switches in the center console is broken and missing( I don't know what its too).   Rear hatch does not open with key or switch.   Left outside door handle wont open door but does from inside.   The drivers side mirror seems loose and the glass has been replaced with a smaller one.   Along with the sale comes 2 new relays(fuel pump/LH injection). new rubber boots for intake. and crank reference sensor.   I know this sounds like a lot of issues and problems but I want to be honest and the new owner to have no surprises.   After all this is a 85 Porsche 928 with the 5. 0 motor.   What 85 Porsche 928 does not have issues.

I am not a Porsche expert.   This is my 1st Porsche.  This car has NOT been inspected by a mechanic for the running issues.   It is for sale as I Just don't have the time and money to stick into it at this time.

This is for local pickup only.   Shipping will be on the buyer.   I work a lot of hours so car is only available to be picked up or viewed from 7-9pm weeknights and weekends by appointment.

I will be out of town for May 19-22nd and may not be able to respond during that time.

I do have a 1985 Porsche 928s Parts car available to purchaser of this auction for an additional fee.   Parts car is not for sale unless car listed sells. Please do not ask question about parts car until auction ends.
