OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY WITH THIS 1950 CHEVY STYLINE DELUXE 4DR W THE WORLD FAMOUS BLUE FLAME 6 CYLINDER ENGINE THAT WAS YEARS AHEAD OF ITS TIME . Chevrolet introduced a new body in 1949. a softer. rounded look. It was again available in either a trunk back body style Styleline; in 2 or 4 door sedan. convertible. wagon and delivery. Also available was the fast back body style Fleetline; in 2 or 4 door sedan. The Special was the base model and Deluxe the upmarket model. the Deluxe got Stainless Steel trim around windows. beltline molding  and rear fender skirts. 1950 saw a minor facelift. the vertical bars in the centre of the grille were gone for 1950. 1950 also saw the introduction of the top of the line Bel Air. only available as a 2 door Hardtop. Chevrolet sedans were also produced in Australia by General Motors using modified American bodies from 1926-68. Engine; 235 cu in 6 cyl blue flame . This car has been in our family for quite a few years and we don't use it much anymore now that the grandkids are older and are off w there tablets and I phones . car has never been restored and doesn't really need anything . we installed a custom made radiator to battle the florida heat and it runs perfect . with a little rust repair and a new paintjob it would be a perfect car show car unless you enjoy the original patina and some nicks and scratches here and there . feel free to contact me for more pictures or any questions .
