For sale is my 1928 Ford Model A 5 window coupe all steel including the fenders and trunk. All Henry Ford steel. This is a driver hot rod. This car was built right. I drive this hot rod a lot. it's not a " needs tlc car" or a project car.

Engine and Trans: 383 Stroker with Vortec heads. Comp Cam 280 solid. Keith Black pistons Pink rods. standard oil pump. Mallory Ignition HEI.   Thermostatically controlled electric fan.   Newly rebuilt fine- tuned 19 mpg Rochester Quadrajet carb. Hughes stall converter 350 rebuilt transmission. Optima red top battery.

For the suspension: This hotrod is equipped with front Ford Mustang II suspension with new shocks and new pinion boots for the manual rack and pinion steering.   The rear-end is Chevy with 4 link suspension including coil-over shocks.  Will need a front alignment due to not having done the alignment after the new pinion boots were installed.

Brakes: The master cylinder is new and all rubber brake lines front and rear are new. Disk front and drum rear brakes. This car stops ok. I mention “ok” because I would rather have a power brake set-up. It could use new steel brake lines and a new proportioning valve but as is. it stops just as expected from a hotrod.

Interior: Hurst Quarterstick Floor Shifter. Leather interior. Classic Instruments full gauge set up. All gauges work. Yes the fuel gauge works. Push button or turn -key start. Moroso power cut-off behind the shifter. Adjustable seating.

Exterior and general description: Pictures tell the story! This car is beautiful. It won't win the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance but it might win a local burger joint car show here and there. This is a driver hotrod. not a Toyota Corolla. The pictures include the front cover on and off. The front cover is just a shaped sheet metal used to cover the rack n pinion and suspension and aids in directing air to the radiator. I prefer it off but will include it “on” in the sale. All lights do work.   The pictures posted are pics of the car's current condition. What you see in the posted pics is what the car looks like today. I will include; however. two rear steelies as a bonus and a Hillborn Air Cleaner assembly as a bonus as well.

This car runs and idles really nice and sounds good. I have it tuned for drivability and it can easily be tuned for whatever a future owner wishes. When I first got this. it had a Holley double pumper and it rumbled loud and drove like a beast. I toned down a bit and because of this. I get 19 mpg.

 The Bad:

Wipers don't work.
