1965 Ford Galaxie

Ford Galaxie 500352 cu. in. V8 AutoThis car is in great shape. It was restored approximately 5 years ago and the underside was sealed when it was painted.
There have been a couple of questions about the engine.

The VIN is for a 352 engine originally.

I have checked all of the markings and this car is indeed a 352 block.
It has a date stamp of 5L85 as far as I could see so this dates it to August 5th. 1965 as far as I could ascertain.

Now my confusion. It has a 390 head stamped Edelbrock 390 performer and is badged "390" on the fenders.

So I am adding this note and revising the listing to a 352 engine.

It's still a great car and I will be sorry to see it go. This is a response I am sharing with everyone. The 390 blocks have the 352 on the front of the block the same as the 390. the 390 was a 352 until Ford upped the CID by redoing the352. Now that's said and done. the 352 is a redid 332 CID. The FE engine family is so messed up its hard to tell one from the next from 332 to 428. Some stamping numbers help and some makes it a mess.

Great Black with Red Piped interior. Original stereo still fitted but a remote control stereo fitted in the glove box. The car is wired to the trunk for sub-woofers etc. if you want to fit them. Racing cams fitted . electronic ignition. Separate fuel pump button which acts as a kill switch / theft deterrent.
This car looks and sounds great. American Racing Wheels . excellent tires

You will see I have another car for sale. I am reluctantly selling some of my prized possessions due to a move overseas and I don't want to put them in long term storage. These cars should be driven and enjoyed. There are a few small blemishes in the paint that were there when I bought it. These could easily be rectified if desired to make a show car. The only other improvement I would have made is to have the bumpers re-chromed as there a few small rust spots. but the car looks great now and these are not really necessary. I have priced the car fairly to sell. These cars are appreciating fast so you can enjoy your investment. Any inspection welcome. come and drive it . You will not be disappointed.
