Hi. and welcome to the sale of my 2000 'W' reg Rover Mini Cooper Sport
I've always wanted one of these and looked long and hard for the right one that needed very little work to be as good as the day she rolled out of Longbridge. however. not long after the purchase we found out that we were expecting child number 3! I can't justify this little Mini as a third car for weekend fun as we're going to have to get a bigger family car!
The Good Bits
Late Model Cooper S (only five months before production ended)
Paint work in excellent condition - Red with silver roof/stripes
Only used in the dry over the summer months
Garaged when not driven
Gear box overhauled 3000 miles ago
Engine bay degreased
All electrics working
Subtle addition of a 12v plug (for satnav or ipod)
Drives and handles brilliantly
Stainless steel exhaust (will come with original)
Minilite alloys in great condition with all four corners having plenty of tread on them
Fully provenanced history with original bill of sale and receipts since
Below average miles for year (approx. 2000 per year for last 4/5 years)
Not so good bits
Tax only until Oct (had planned to SORN and garage over winter)
Couple of advisories on last 2/3 MOT's as follows;
slight crack to f/n/s brake disc (I've checked it and it looks fine for at least another few thousand miles+)
Bulb needs replacing on fuel gauge on dash (not got round to it but will sort for sale if its a deal breaker)
Some corrosion present on sub frame (I've had this up on the ramps and its been sealed at some point. very little corrosion and nothing to worry about - its been on the last few mot's)
This head turner of a Mini is in very good overall condition and it is with a heavy heart that i'm placing this ad - it is advertised elsewhere so may be withdrawn at short notice.
