MINI BRITISH OPEN CLASSIC
Sadly the time has come to part with my really special car. I have had her since I drove her out of the showroom in Glasgow as a Christmas present to myself in 1992. For the first year. she was my main car. but after that has been either in limited summer use or in dry storage. This accounts for her just 23. 00 miles and excellent condition. you wont find another like it. especially as this was a limited run of only 1000 to celebrate the British Open golf championship. The colour is British Racing Green Metallic with interior brown leather piped in green. It is a true open-top car. with the factory fitted black webasto roof opening all the way back. electrically operated by one button which can be operated at the first drop of rain. even while driving. This car is totally original. never had any welding etc. but it has had some upgrades from standard to make her performance even better. The engine is the classic 1275 cc. one of the last with a carburettor. It was tuned by a technician who used to tune the minis for the Isle of Man TT races. and has K&N filter. special carburettor upgrade. and straight through centre stainless steel exhaust(without cat. increasing performance). These are the only modifications. With these. she flies. I have never measured the HP but I guess its over 100.  Has its service history from new. until recently when I took it to a local garage/did it myself (its easy on a Mini !)
Comes with brand new 12 month MOT (needed nothing for it). and 6 months tax.
