This listing is for an original 1967 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport with a clear blue Texas title.   I bought the project from a friend so I don't know all the history of the vehicle. but will describe it as accurately as possible and inspections are welcome.

The chassis under the 1967 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport is from a 1966 Chevelle Malibu (Model Code: 13616)

The chassis has a lowered suspension all the way around and is secured with six (6) body bolts so that it can easily be removed.

However. it DOES NOT come with any wiring. hood. front windshield. dash. steering column. cluster. gauges and does NOT have a clutch pedal

This is a Texas vehicle and while the body is solid. there are rusted spots in the usual placed (i. e. : edges of the front and rear windshield; rear edge of the trunk lid; the edge just above the rear bumper; etc. ). These areas have had the rust removed. but will need attention. The chassis is solid and free of rust.

Just to clarify .

The Front Seat Floor Pans (Left & Right) are welded in the vehicle. There is surface rust from exposure to moisture. but it is only "surface rust". The pans are new and solid.

The Rear  Seat Floor Pan (Left & Right) are NOT welded in the vehicle. The pans are new and painted.


The Window/Trunk Panel is NOT welded in the vehicle. There is surface rust from exposure to moisture. but it is only "surface rust". The panel is new and solid.

I received a very good question this morning . "If it was a Texas car. Why are all floors. Replaced. Or need replaced. . ???" So. I thought I would share my answer.

I bought the project from a friend so I don't know all the history of the vehicle. but I've described it as accurately as possible and inspections are welcome. The vehicle was last titled in Fresno. TX (just southwest of Houston. TX) in July 2009. I was told that the vehicle has lived it's life in Texas and. based on the condition of the body. I'm inclined to agree that it has. On the first generation (1964–1967) Chevelle. it's common to find rust in specific areas even if the vehicle has been in the southern states due to exposure. These vehicles have survived for 50+ years and moisture can get in the vehicle due to deteriorated weather-stripping around the windows and windshields. As it's common to find some rust around the front and rear windshields. that allows moisture to enter the vehicle. If there is. usually there is rust under the rear seat. trunk and floor pans as the moisture drains downward. As I described in the posting. the body is solid but there are rusted spots in the usual places (i. e. : edges of the front and rear windshield; rear edge of the trunk lid; the edge just above the rear bumper; etc. ). These areas are not all that bad and have had the rust removed. but they will need some attention. If you'll message me your email address. I'll send you additional pictures of these areas. I want to disclose that. since I've had the vehicle. I've never started the 307 CID V-8 Engine -nor- operated the Saginaw Manual 3-Speed Transmission. I was told. by the previous owner. that the engine should start and run. I will admit that I purchased this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Super Sport because of the body and the chassis. I had no plans to use the engine and transmission that are currently in it as part of the restoration. But as things go. I'm now involved in restoring a 1966 Chevy II Nova and I decided to let this SS go.
