1962 Chrysler 300

      Up for Auction is my 1962 Chrysler 300. I have owned this car for 14 years and redone most everything on it. It must be driven to fully appreciate it. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the right way to restore the car and make it reliable car that can be safely driven everyday. This car would have no problem driving to New York and back. I've made sure that everything works on this car. I'm going to try and list everything that has been done to the car.

o Rebuilt engine with about 500 miles on it
o Hughes high lift cam with roller rockers for a smooth runner
o New . 030 over pistons
o Rebuilt carburetors
o Electronic Ignition with custom harness and hidden components
o MSD 6A box mounted under the battery box
o Custom headers
o Complete H pipe exhaust system with flowmaster mufflers
o Gear reduction starter
o Front suspension has been completely redone including sway bar bushings
o Spindles and front brakes have been changed to 64 models for better braking (The original dual cylinder  bendix brakes were terrible)
o Koni shocks
o Rebuilt windshield washer pump
o Recorded radiator
o Upgraded Alternator
o Rebuilt heater thermostat
o 150 MPH Speedometer
o Hidden power locks with a remote fob
o Rebuilt transmission (race clutches and bands. shift kit)
o Ball and Trunion replaced with a slip yoke
o New rear Springs (300 H replacements from 300 club)
o Rear Koni shocks
o 3. 23 suregrip rear end
o 11”x2 ½” rear brakes out of a station wagon
o Floors and doors are covered with dynomat to stop any rattling
o Entire car was painted (including trunk. door jams. and engine bay)
o Chrome has been rechromed and the stainless trim has all been polished
o New weather-stripping throughout
o All window motors cleaned and reconditioned
o California car with no rust
o New carpet throughout

       The only thing I didn't finish was the interior. I had tried to keep as much of the original leather as possible. I had what was failing replaced. but soon after what was left of original leather failed. So the front and back seats need redone. The seat electrics work perfectly. The windows all work. the passenger side switch doesn't roll the window down. it needs rebuilding. The electroluminescent interior lights work perfectly. All of the dashboard switches work. lights. heater and air controls. The headliner is in perfect shape.
The car was painted 5 years ago. so there are a few chips here and there. It is far from perfect. There is no rust on the car. All the floors are solid. The car has never been hit. I didn't put on the rocker chrome strips. but they come with the car.
I'm sure if you are looking at this car you know about Chrysler 300s. This car is a sport 300 with the H option engine. firepower 380. The engine has the dual four barrel carbs. It has 15” wheels with the H hubcaps. front sway bar. and a 150 MPH speedometer.
This car is really fast. I have taken it up to 140 MPH on a closed runway. It stops well. and shifts smoothly. You are welcome to come look at the car and drive it. I am in downtown Los Angeles. Please email me if you want any more info.
