Mercedes Benz 300CD 1985

Alright all you W123 fans. here is your chance. This is a short auction. so don't mess around. I'm no computer guru so pardon me for the simplistic nature of this ad.

1985 300CD with 59669 miles on it.   I have owned this vehicle several years. all the service is up to date and it runs as good as it looks. I bought it from the second owner/friend of the family and it has spent all but the last two years in Nebraska/Kansas.   Clear Kansas title. happy to get you a New Mexico title if that makes you feel better. I'm a picky car guy and I like unmolested originals. nbsp;I would not have bought this car if it did not impress me from the outset. Vehicle is currently located in southern New Mexico. 90 miles north of El Paso TX. so plan accordingly for shipping/pick-up.   Car runs as good as it looks. but since pictures don't tell the whole story I will try to the best of my knowledge to describe it as best I can to help you reach a decision about buying this future classic.   If you know what you are looking at you know all about these cars. so I will spare you the rhetoric.

Bottom line is that this is a great low mile example of the W123 300CD series.   The paint shows very very well as can be seen in the pics. there is one small spot where the clear coat is peeling at the leading edge of the driver's door. and one small surface bubble under left tail light as shown in the pics. There are some rock chips on the leading edge of the hood. and one small door ding on the driver's door.   The chrome and bright work are all very good.   Gas Burner rims are in good condition. were previously painted and have a brand new set of Michelin X Radials all around that have less than 250 miles on them. Interior wise it is very clean and unmolested.   Radio was changed at some point to the current Pioneer unit. MB Tex is in great condition. the drivers seat has some wear on the outboard bolster as seen in the pics.   I can only attribute this to the robust nature of the previous owner and perhaps Levi Strauss.   Panels are flawless as seen in the pics. Headliner is clean and unstained. The dash is in wonderful condition with the exception of one small crack (approx 1") on the passenger side as shown in the pics. and which has been filled.   Wood is in great condition. Air-conditioning works well. cruise functions correctly. sunroof works correctly and does not leak. central locking works right. No runs or drips from engine or tranny. Original tools. first aid kit and an extra set of filters included with purchase.   Electric windows work with the exception of the rear passenger side.   I have not had opportunity to investigate this issue but it appears this is fairly common and not unusual on the type.   Fresh service was accomplished back in January. to include fuel filters. nbsp; coolant. etc. This car goes down the road great and is a joy to drive. The mileage can be verified via Auto Check /CARFAX.

The vehicle is for sale locally on Craigslist and as such subject to sale prior to auction ending. $2000. 00 NONREFUNDABLE deposit due via PAYPAL within 48 hours or you are out of the running for good. no ifs. buts or whining needed.   If you need to talk to your wife for approval or the bank to see if you can get a loan. you probably don't need this car. Balance is due via electronic transfer or bank check before the vehicle will be released to you/your shipper. When the check clears the title will be FEDEXED to you ASAP. Not interested in any trades or other whacky transactions. Don't need anyone to help me sell it on their website. use this opportunity to transfer funds from some third world crap hole or any other BS.  This is a straight up old fashioned sale. Treat me right and I'll return the courtesy to close this transaction in a timely and correct manner. Feel free to have an independent inspection accomplished at your own cost.
