In 1973 Porsche entered two MARTINI RACING Mary Stuart tailed cars in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.  Later that year one of the cars was brought to the U. S.  The body work was changed and the car was painted blue with SUNOCO logos.  It was raced in the Six Hours of Watkins Glen by Roger Penske Racing and driven by Mark Donahue.  Years later the car was restored back to the MARTINI RACING Porsche 911 RSR with the Mary Stuart body work.

At that time this 1971 Porsche race car was fitted with a fiberglass body made from the same molds used to restore the 1973 MARTINI RACING RSR.   This car is originally from the south west. The tub is in perfect original condition with absolutely no rust or damage.  The body is all removable fiberglass except for the roof.  This car has been disassembled and restored with new paint. rebuilt engine. rebuilt trans. new wheels and much more.  The front suspension is Bilstein coil over struts with a Weltmeister sway bar. The rear suspension has Bilstein shocks with out the coil over springs.  The engine is a 2. 7 with RS pistons and cylinders. race cams. Webber Carburetors and Carrera tensioners.  The 915 transmission has limited slip. The wheels are three piece 9 and 11 x 16 inch with Fuch centers and BBS inner and outer. All of the logos are made of vinyl. The seat is a Cobra that came with the car. There is (in car) front to rear brake bias adjustment.  We sorted and raced the car in three Porsche Club DE weekends. This car is fast and fun to drive.   It is also very reliable. imple to drive and capable of running on premium unleaded fuel if desired.  To see photos of the original MARTINI RACING 911 go to  http://www. sportscardigest. com/classics-at-the-castle-porsche-concours-2010-photo-gallery/     and    http://www. racingsportscars. com/chassis/photo/911%20360%200588%20R6. html
