Cadillac has always been a statement of luxury in the automotive world. As one of the first car manufactures. they have kept a high reputation on providing the optimum driving experience.

The continental kit was a popular option in the 50s.

This stunning example of a 1953 Coupe De Ville is what you would have dreamed of driving around and being seen in the 50's and Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this car to you.

Just a little bit of custom work was done to this great old Cadillac. The door handles were shaved and the hood ornaments removed.

The iconic front grill is in fantastic condition . 1953 also was the year that the 15- inch wire wheels were factory.

Cadillac has always been known for the comfort of their ride. i. e suspension. so with factory coils up front and leaf springs out back. this car is sure  to make you feel like you were floating on a cloud back in the 50's.

The exterior of the car is what will always be the attention-grabber on any model of Cadillac. This Coupe de Ville sports an elegant black exterior with plenty of chrome accents to make you need sunglasses when admiring in the sunlight.

The original upholstery is protected by the original optional plastic seat covers.

The interior is also another trademark of Cadillac. They wanted to make sure that the owners were to effortlessly maneuver in and out of the vehicle. also to provide ample comfort while driving on those sunday afternoons.

The original dash is in very nice condition.

The comfortable  bench style seat and large diameter steering wheel allowed you to feel as relaxed as if sitting on your
 own couch while driving.

Aftermarket gauges located under the dash are in working condition and provide easy viewing of all engine vitals.

Original door panels show a little wear.

Factory power steering was also an added option to provide an effortless driving experience.

Till this very day. one can never go wrong in purchasing a Cadillac. whether new or old. This 1953 Cadillac Coupe De Ville can be a great addition to any automotive collection from mild to wild.

The only modifications on the 53 are shaved door handles and hood ornament.

This beast is powered by a 331 cu in V8 engine producing around 210 hp and 330 ft lbs of torque.

Even though these cars were relatively heavy. there was plenty of power to get you where you were going. and a 20-gallon gas tank to allow for long hauls or road trips with the family.

The engine was rebuilt just under 500 miles ago.

Having the factory Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. you were able to effortlessly drive no matter what the conditions .

This is a great cruising car. There is no a/c. but we here at Texas Classic Cars OF Dallas are a dealer for Classic Auto Air.

The undercarriage on this very classic 1953 Cadillac is clean and in very good condition throughout. The body is incredibly straight.
