Up for auction a very nice 1966 Ford Mustang ConvertibleI am selling this car for a friend of mine. Currently this car is in Florida.
This pampered show car was purchased by the current owner at the Kruse auction in Auburn. Indiana in September 1999. It is a beautiful red convertible. with black interior and white rag top. At the time of purchase it was in good. restore condition and has needed very little additional restoration work.
Though the odometer currently reads 17. 52. the actual miles on the car and engine are not known. This Mustang has a V8. 289 CID engine with a 4-Barrel carburetor. The top. body. interior. undercarriage. engine compartment. trunk. etc are in very good condition.
This treasure has been garaged since purchase. and has been driven occasionally. mostly for shows. competitions. parades and other special events.
Note: New set of tires will be installed before the auction ends.
The current owner is no longer able to drive and with great misgivings is offering for sale.
