Up for Sale is a 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS. VIN#06422. This car is one of 1. 74 cars produced 1972-1974. It was sold
brand new here in Atlanta at FAF (which is now Ferrari of Atlanta) in Tucker. /p>
GA on October 31. 1974 to a (Owner 1) . (Owner 1) bought the car and drove it a
few thousand miles and burned the clutch up and returned it to FAF. Not likening
the car (Owner 1) returned the car to FAF and bought a Ford GT 40. FAF
used the car as a Demo and the car was sold to (Owner 2). (Owner 2) owned the car from October 1975- Aug 1978. (Owner 2 ) had the car at
FAF and (Owner 2 1/2) bought the car from FAF on June 11. 1980. (Owner 2 1/2) was business partners with (Owner 3) and sold him the car
on June 16. 1980. (Owner 3) has owned the car for the last 33 years until
we acquired it. (Owner 3) also painted the car. The car comes complete
with Books. Records. Tool Kit. Extra Steering Wheel and the original drive out
tag from FAF. The car has a black interior with a minor tear on the driver seat
(see pic). The car was Originally Yellow and was painted to Red in the 80's when everyone wanted a Red Ferrari.

History on the 246 GTS:
Enzo Ferrari’s son Alfredo. also
known as “Dino. rdquo; was a proponent of small-displacement. 6-cylinder technology.
After earning his engineering degree. he began development of a V6 racing
engine. After Alfredo’s tragic death. Enzo directed the legendary engineer
Vittorio Jano to finish Dino’s work to honor his son’s memory. A series of
successful engines was developed that ultimately powered various Ferrari
Formula 1 and 2 cars. as well as sports racers.
Ferrari later built a prototype
sports car. the Dino 206 GT. which was put into production in 1968.
a 180-horsepower. 1. 86-cc V6 engine. it was Ferrari’s first mid-engine
production car and represented the debut of a new. Ferrari-based Dino brand. In
1969. the V6 was enlarged to 2. 18 cc. and the output increased to 195
horsepower. This engine became the Dino’s ultimate evolution. the 246 series.
Late in the 246’s production. br />7½-inch wide Campagnolo wheels. flared fenders and Daytona-style seat inserts
were offered as options. Dinos fitted with these options earned the moniker
“Chairs and Flares. ” The mileage represented on this vehicle is accurate. This is a smoke-free automobile. There are no signs of prior damage on this vehicle. There is no damage evident on this vehicle. There are no noticeable dings on the exterior of this vehicle. This is a garage kept vehicle. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. The engine on this vehicle is running properly. All power equipment is functioning properly. The car was originally Fly Yellow and was painted to Red in the 80’s. This vehicle has no known defects. The exterior of this vehicle is extra clean. Extra clean interior. There is approximately 75% of the tire tread remaining.
