Description Hello and thanks for looking. Up for sale is our beautiful 1936 Mercedes Benz 500K "MARLENE" replica car.  This is the "Marlene" 2 seater roadster named after Marlene Dietrich. the famous actress. The "Marlene" is a smaller version of the Heritage 500k and is very popular because its shorter and easier to park in smaller garages and parking spots. With the measurements of this car being only 174" long. 65" wide and 51" high you will quickly notice how easy she is to maneuver in tight situations. We have owned this car for over 4 years and unfortunately the time has come to sell her. This car is 95% percent complete and still won 3rd place at the Association of Handcrafted Automobiles (AHA) Car Show. The car has a lot of potential to be a very nice showpiece when finished.  The non-painted body is gel coated fiberglass that has only a couple minor flaws (illustrated in my pics).  This 2200 pound car accelerates quickly. thanks to the peppy 2. 8 liter Ford V6 engine. The 4 speed manual transmission makes this car very enjoyable to drive. especially with the top down on a nice warm day. This car is also equipped with a Chevy tilt steering column. burl wood dash. 2 piece front windshield. chrome bumpers. fog lamps. Mercedes hood ornament. badge bar. chrome rims with wire baskets. Euro styled custom oval front tag. and classic styled white faced gages. The black interior in this car shows very nice and has no tears or stains on the seats or carpets. This car has only 377 miles on it since it was assembled.  For the most part the car is a solid driver and everything works. however its not 100% finished just needs a little tender loving care to get her to that level of completion.  This car is a blast to drive and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes.  This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. whoever wins the bid wins this car so please bid with confidence. serious bidders only!! With the originals being priced up to 3 million dollars you cant go wrong with investing in this replica.  This car is currently registered and clean titled in California. Hi I am very interested but as I live in the U.K so the car would need to be shipped across. To help me work out shipping cost could you tell me your nearest port? Also could you tell me what date it states on registration papers please.I am not sure but I notice that the windscreen frame does not appear correct am I right? Do you have any of the side Chrome strips?
