Ford Capri mk2 2. 0. S for sale.  Ok. where to start. This is one of only three reputed surviving mk2 2. 0. S in this rare shade of signal amber. Original factory.  The car has only had three previous owners. The last one didn't use it as his wife didn't like the car so it sat in the garage until I brought it.  That was in 2006 so I've had it for seven years now. It's been very well cared for in my ownership.  When I got the car it was showing some signs of corrosion to the rear arches and a few other bits.  It was totally original but had a few scratches and stone chips here and there.  Originally the plan was to just do the arches so new sections were cut in. No lap joints either. All butt welded.  That was when things got carried away and decided to refinish the whole car inc the engine compartment to what you see now.  
The car has only covered 44300 miles. backed up by a fair few mot Certs. It has spent a couple of occasions off the road during its life.  It has had a couple of mods carried out.  2. 8 single rear leaf springs and bilstein gas shocks. again from a 2. 8.  Fully poly bushed throughout.  Full stainless janspeed exhaust system. manifold remains stock.  Five speed type nine box fitted but still have the four speed and required parts to turn back if you want.  Also fitted the ronal wheels from mk2 early S but have the correct ghia. rims to go with it as well. Your choices.  
That's about it to be honest. I won't waffle with stupid production figures and a history about the ford capri. You can see what it is and what it's like.  The car is well known in the Capri scene and on the mk2 register. No doubt a few of you will recognise it.  It has won various awards over the time I've owned it. and it didn't even enter it when it has.
You will notice the rear seat has sun damage to the top area. common fault.  It does have the rear load cover still as well.  
Very very original car.  
Ok. so no silly offers for the car. I won't reply.  It's rare and I think worth a fair price. You're not going to find another like this one.  It is a reluctant sale so I'm not giving it away.  
Thanks for looking at the auction but I strongly advise if your serious. come and look at the car.  No test pilots or none feed backs. newbies.  Won't ship overseas etc etc.
