This Mustang was built over the last four years as a driver/show car and has been in my care for about 10 years. I've been into vintage Mustangs for over 30 years and wanted a car with more modern handling capability. I've regretfully decided to sell to help fund the completion of my '69 Boss 302 restoration. All the modifications were made using high quality aftermarket parts. Since this car was to be modified. I changed the front to the '69 look which I prefer. If you prefer the original '70 front the headlight buckets/trim. grill and upper gravel pan only would need to be changed. I've driven this car a few thousand miles with no reliability issues. I started with a factory V8 (302) car with a straight. virtually rust free body so the body and paint work was easy compared to most of the early Mustangs that I've built. This car is not a rebuilt rust bucket. It has original Ford doors. trunk lid and one fender. The hood & one fender are reproductions. The driver side quarter skin had been replaced when I bought the car. I replaced the battery apron and both front floor sections from the seat risers forward to the toe panels and from the frame rails out to the rockers.  I also replaced the driver side trunk floor and the lower section of the pass. trunk drop off. I'm not sure about the tail light panel. It could have been replaced before my ownership. The rest of the uni-body is original Ford. Attention to detail is evident throughout. Most all of the chrome is new (everything except the front marker lights and the tail panel honey comb trim) and all of the stainless trim was polished. The Raven Black paint is beautiful and really shows how straight this car is. We went to great pains to make sure the car was very straight when sighting down the sides. The hood was painted like a '69 Boss 302 with the semigloss black over the Raven Black. I had it painted professionally by Lakeside Hot Rods about 3 years ago and they used quality base coat/ clear coat products. The imperfections in the paint that I mentioned in the above description are very minor chips from driving. small specs that weren't completely color sanded out of the clear coat and a couple of places that the paint has minor blisters. You really have to go over the car closely to see them. The deluxe interior is show quality and mostly new including a Ford tooling dash pad. Mustang Market door panels. all new seat covers and re-chromed dash bezel. I didn't feel the need to modify arguably the best interior ever installed in a muscle car.  The car runs. drives. handles and stops exceptionally well. 75 mile per hour interstate cruising is very pleasant with the overdrive tranny.  It isn't perfect though but great for a 43 year old muscle car.   The clock doesn't work nor does the high beam indicator indicate. Please read through the following list of modifications and parts.
-427 cu. in. short block built by Coast High Performance. a leader in strokers. It is the Pro-Street level: stock block with main stud girdle rated at 600 horsepower. The  pistons. crank and "H"  beam rods are all forged and rated at 800 horsepower. The retail price is about $3200 for just the short block cam not included. Please Note: This complete shortblock was built at Coast High Performance and has their serial number on the side of the block. The compression ratio is approximately 10:1. It  runs great on 93 octane.
