Yes. this is the former Award Winning. Championship Winning . No Limit Engineering Silver Bullet. I purchased the Silver Bullet from Rob at No Limit earlier this year. and I have had a blast making subtle changes to make it my own. The truck is built on a No Limit Engineering Big 10 chassis and features the best modern built classic truck engineering and components available. Features like. Baer 14" 6 piston brakes front and rear. Ridetech Shock Waves / e3 system. Flaming River rack & pinion. Currie 9" with Strange Engineering aluminum center section (3. 70 posi). Coleman floating billet hubs. The drivetrain is all Ford. The engine started life as a Ford Windsor Racing Block. 392 cubic inch stroker. nbsp;Bullet crank and rods. JE Pistons. AFR Heads. and Comp Cams valve train. GT style EFI for performance. drivability. and reliability. This is a 9. 0 -1 combo that runs on pump gas. puts out 400 plus hp and 416 ft lbs tq to the ground. and will still get 20+ miles to the gallon on the highway. World Class T-5 r speed transmission. with Bullet flywheel. and hydraulic clutch. very comfortable to drive with power steering and power brakes. The body is all steel and the bed is from Dan Carpenter. The bed is 4" wider than stock. and yes. you can add a wood bed if you like. The interior is NO NONSENSE. bucket seats. seat belts. nbsp;no carpet.
I have made several changes and additions to the truck since purchased. But nothing to alter the performance or handling. The front fenders were fiberglass when the truck was purchased. I changed them out for reproduction steel. The truck is now ALL STEEL. The trucks paint was not in the best of condition. it was applied dry with sort of a mat finish for durability. It had been up against the cones several times and the paint on the drivers side bottom of fenders was a little rough. I repainted about 3/4 of the truck. and it now stands pretty tall. I added custom aluminum door panels. kick panels. nbsp;headliner. and ProCar buckets seats. I removed the headest and replaced them with a brushed aluminum bar. The headrest can be easily be returned to the seats. I replace the Artic White gauges with Autometer Carbon Fiber gauges and engine turned dash insert. I painted the steering column black and replaced the steering wheel with a Joe's Racing circle track wheel. and pad. I changed the headlights to a more conventional look. but still halogen. The front turn signals are now also running lights. The bed of the truck was open with a couple of wood strips on each side when purchased. I wanted something different. so I added a 3 piece aluminum bed that is held in with dusz fastener and can easily be remove for any needed maintenance in that area. I changed the tube / wing support back closer to it's original design. I like it much better that the smaller setup that was in the truck when I bought it. All of the aluminum work was done by US 12 Speed & Custom. New Buffalo. MI. The wheels are from MobSteel out of Detroit. 20x9's in the rear and 18x8's in the front. THE PEOPLE AT MOBSTEEL. and US 12 SPEED AND CUSTOM ARE ALL GREAT TO WORK WITH. the tires are NEW. BFG g-Force KDW's . 295x45x20 rears . 255x45x18 fronts. The original Intro Truckster wheels and KDW's are also included in the sale. They are now powder coated black. There is a hood that goes with the truck. I just like it without.
I almost forgot. The truck does have a chopped top. it is called a Gentlemen's Chop. It uses the stock windshield and rear window. The doors and side windows are however modified. You will notice there are NO side windows currently installed in the truck. It's a race truck. I do have the modified vent window wings that Rob did for the truck. You would need to purchase window regulators. side glass and a few misc. part to add the side windows. Call me for the details.
This is a one of a kind truck. it is an instant rush every time I get behind the wheel. I have never owned another truck that handles and drives this well. The power is awesome. but not so much that it is difficult to drive. The truck is a 2 time Goodguys Champion. Truckin Throw Down Winner. nbsp;Optima Competitor. There are NO KNOWN defects or mechanical issues. The truck is ready to cruise. autocross. it is just a blast to own.
This is not a Fire Sale. or Must Sell. I really like this truck. I just get bored. the Juice for me is in the chase and the build. after that. I am ready to move on.
