2007 Chevrolet Corvette Lingenfelter Upgraded for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 141 votes

This beautiful showroom shine Monterey Metallic Red 2007 Corvette is a head turner. This one owner vehicle has always been garaged. kept clean and waxed. and as a result. the finish is still stunning. The owner has religiously kept the maintenance up to date at the local Chevrolet dealer. It is worth note to mention that this owner is now in his 70's. The car has not been driven hard.

This is every bit a sports car. but has all the features of a luxury car. To top it off. at 13. 00 miles. the owner took the car to Lingenfelter and had them install their 500 HP package.   At the same time. Hooker headers and a Corsa exhaust system were added. When driven casually. the exhaust system is relatively quiet but “throaty”. but when heavily accelerated. the sound unleashes to an awesome “Nascar” sound.   The end result is a Corvette that is beautiful. tame in appearance. but can unleash awesome acceleration when commanded.

This owner waited years for Chevrolet to design and build the C6 design Corvette.   Unlike older Corvettes. this car has the supremely glossy paint. the exemplary fit and finish. and the features that make it a premium sports car.   So you are looking at a sports car that drives like a luxury car on the highway. has plenty of conveniences inside such as navigation. dual zone climate control. cruise control. power windows. power locks. power seats. premium Bose AM/FM/CD stereo. dual airbags. side airbags. tilt/telescope steering column. keyless entry/ignition. heads up display. and sports paddle shifting. and bucket seats that hold you in place.   The cargo area is designed such that the targa roof locks in its storage space but still has enough space underneath to store a small suitcase or other cargo.

The Corvette's LS2 V8 is a 6. 0 liter engine that shipped with a rated 400 HP at the flywheel.   But as noted. the Lingenfelter package increased that horsepower to 500 HP.   Exactly what work was incorporated into this engine can be seen at the following link:

This is a masterful plan by Lingenfelter that installs a full package to up the power by 25% (it makes the upgraded Kook's Header/Corsa exhaust option on this coupe really scream!) Best of all. this serious power increase is made without affecting the Corvette's natural appeal as a daily driver. Backed by the desirable six-speed automatic transmission. it's a lively dance partner on your favorite twisting road. And while the optional chrome wheels provide an aggressive presence. they also have the function of grippy Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (Note - These tires are nearly new. with only 7000 miles on them). Complete with a full set of documents that include the original window sticker. maintenance records. owner's manual. title documentation. and the receipt/details from Lingenfelter. this is a true beautiful C6 with a great pedigree. Rarely does a Corvette this special come up for sale.

Warning - This car may not pass some DMV emission inspections.  The Kook's Header/Corsa exhaust system utilized "high flow" catalytic converters.  As a result. the car's OBD system illuminates the "Check Engine" light because the on board computer does not recognize the new catalytic converter O2 sensor signals. If your state relies on the OBD system for primary inspection criteria. the car may not pass the inspection.
