Seller's notes: this auction is for my sheerline limousine which is a incomplete restoration with the interior needing finishing ie the headlining doorcards seats and carpets the interior woodwork is restored and ready to go back in .over the past 15 yrs, ive had the chassis cleaned and painted suspension stripped painted and rebuilt rear axle stripped checked over and painted the engine has been out stripped and checked all waterways cleaned out also had a recon radiator fitted .the bodywork has had major restoration with many panels being rebuilt and made by hand and resprayed in the lovely metallic grey you see today which compliments the gorgeous chrome work mostly in lovely condition but some left as original as to not over restore the car . although described as a limousine the previous owner removed the partition and put in saloon front seats which makes the driving of this a whole more comfy. bad points is that since getting to this stage it has stood for two years has been started reg basis

Hi Andrea
Thanks for your interest in my sheerline . re the bodywork there's no rust or bubbles in the paintwork as body was rebuilt with new rear wings and body panels being hand made. And the front ones were rebuilt with new metalwork Where there is any joins these were lead filled in the old fashion way no plastic filler used anywhere. The sills where completely replaced with new ones form and handmade and completely wax oiled inside any box sections and then sealed the chassis was cleaned any rust cleaned up & dealt with and then repainted with a paint that's similar to that used on oil rigs . And as I said previously the suspension was stripped & re painted and reassembled with all new polyurethane bushes ( longer lasting ) where fitted . And you asked about the clutch this was replaced whilst the engine was out so is fine the gearbox is fine although the gear selectors could do with re bushing .
The interior is where it needs completing as I've said there's no partition ( that's long gone) and in it's place are two front seats from a sheerline saloon and are finished in there original red leather which is very dry & cracked and split in a couple of places and one of the armrests needs re fixing the rear seat is also in the car and although useable could do with re trimming .
Again as said the headlining needs completely replacing ( all the old parts& old trim are with the car as patterns for this ) . All the carpets need replacing as I said again patterns with the car .
The good news about the interior is the wood work has been sympathetically re finished i e all the door cap pings and frames all re finished along with the dashboard which has been restored to a good standard although I will point out that as this car was originally was built left hand drive and later converted to right hand drive the cut out for the steering column has and wooden insert fitted and I left this showing as I felt it was part of the cars history .

I have a 125 Sheerline here in Canada and am looking for the screws that hold the brake drum on and the wood frame that goes around the rear doors. Can you help
