A fantastic car in great condition. The car was imported to Denmark from the USA in 2007 and have stayed with the same Danish owner. The car has 73. 24 miles on the odometer and have a Chevrolet Small Block 350cid/290hp with carburetor and an automatic transmission. The cars original 283cid/245hp engine and automatic gearbox is included in the sale.

The 1955-1957 Bel Air is one of the most collectible and recognizable American cars of all time. A 1955 model was driven by Harrison Ford in the 1973 George Lucas film American Graffiti. However. when it comes to screen time the 1975 Bel Air ruled the roost. It was featured in the movie Eddie and the Cruisers. Hollywood Knights. Sin City. numerous television shows and visible in a few scenes of Dirty Dancing.

History of the second generation (1955–1957) Chevrolet Bel Air:

For 1955. Chevrolet's full-size model received all new styling and power. The 1955 Bel Air was 3. 56 lb. (1. 68 kg) and 15 ft. (4. 6 m) long. It was called the "Hot One" in GM's advertising campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp. clean and incorporated a Ferrari-inspired grille. For 1955 Chevrolets gained a V8 engine.

In 1957 engine displacement grew to 283 cu in (4. 40 cc) with the "Super Turbo Fire V8" option producing 283 hp (211 kW) with the help of continuous (closed loop) mechanical fuel injection. These so-called "fuelie" cars are quite rare. since most Bel Airs were fitted with carburetion.
