1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade..6cyl,T18 4spd,Dana 300 T-case, 3 Tops, Rust Free Mopar!

 PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY!

   GREAT DAILY DRIVER OR EASY RESTORATION PROJECT!

1981 Jeep CJ7 Renegade. Last year of the narrow tracks. 258ci 6cyl. T18(Ford)4spd w/6. 0 low gear. Dana 300 T-Case. nbsp;PS. Hard Top. oft Top and Bikini Top.  

This is an unrestored rust free original California CJ7. The body is good with the usual array of small dings and holes drilled through the years for different tops. arriers. andles. peakers etc. The floors are solid with minor surface rust(not rot). The paint and decals are ok for being 20+ years old. The factory rear spare tire carrier has been purchased and will be installed in the coming week.

New windshield. assenger mirror and muffler.

The engine is a 258(4. 2L) 6cyl that starts and runs great. it has had a carburetor conversion to a Motorcraft 2bbl but otherwise appears to be stock. it does have the usual oil seeps and drips that are common with these engines

The low geared Ford T18 trans and Dana 300 t-case were converted by a previous owner and work fine. clutch hooks good with no chatter. The rest of the running gear is stock as far as I have found. 3. 73 open diffs. Also has winch mount on front.

The interior is good driver quality. Front driver seat has been taped on the edge. passenger seats are good with all seat belts still intact. has lockable aftermarket steel center console w/AM-FM CD Stereo mounted in it. Carpet is worn and dirty. ut ok for daily driving.

Has original chrome Jeep wagon wheels and 33-12. 50-15 tires that are only about 20%. Also comes with a set of 4 BFG AT's that are 32/11. 50/15's mounted on black spoke wheels. he tires are about 20% also.

It was involved in a collision in California in 1991 and has been on a salvage title ever since according to Car Fax. I was not the owner at that time. o am not sure how much damage was done to consider it totaled. ut I do know it runs and drives great! I've had it up to 65mph and it drove as good and stable as any other CJ I've owned! Can't honestly tell what if any body panels were replaced at the time and the frame and frame horns look great and undamaged.  

The odometer reads 30000 miles. ut I believe that to be 130000 since there is no sixth digit. In Idaho anything that is over 10yrs old is considered exempt on the miles.
