1987 Porsche 944

This auction is for a 1987 Porsche 944 that runs. drives and stops but would need a little work to be a daily driver. This car was purchased by our Brother in law as a quick and easy project. but as with life. pushed to the side in lieu of his two small children. a business and another project VW.   The car is as rust free as any you will find and of course has the typical blemishes in the paint and bodywork that could be expected for a car of this vintage. All of these are shown in the many pictures provided.   Where the car may be truly lacking is in the interior which could use some attention as shown. The engine runs well after warming up and does have the typical oil leak and there is some power steering leakage as well. Brakes are tight from sitting for the last year and possibly need a quick bleed. We have driven the car within the neighborhood. but never out on the main highway and can confirm that for short drives. everything is in working order. For long distances. it has not been tested and it is recommended that the buyer arranges for transport. We have put original Porsche 911 'S4" wheels all around which look stunning and really gives the car an aggressive look. Upon installation. the rims were wrapped in brand new high performance tires with a total cost of the wheels and tire package coming in at over $1500!Overall. this car is an easy project and has a ton of potential.   The new owner should be extremely happy with it but we highly recommend that any potential buyer come see the car in person prior to bidding. If you are from out of state and cannot come see the car. there are car inspection services available that are well worth the money! It is beneficial for all parties to know what they are bidding on so there are no surprises. We will make ourselves available for viewing and will accommodate any potential bidders schedule as possible. The title is clean and in my Brother in laws name ready to be signed over to the new owner. A deposit of $300 is due immediately at the end of the auction through paypal. so please be prepared to send this.
