1956 Ford Thunderbird!!!

   Here is an absolutely beautiful 1956 Ford Thunderbird that has been the subject of a no expense spared rotisserie restoration! This is one of the nicest Thunderbirds that I have ever come across. This particular car was painstakingly restored to a factory fresh appearance utilizing all of the correct 1956 Thunderbird components.   The car was concour judged by Thunderbird experts and scored incredibly high on the judges sheets. If you are looking for a classic Thunderbird this is the car. It is loaded with all of the desirable options. Port-hole top. chrome wire wheels. white walls. continental kit. skirts. power seat. power windows. power steering. power brakes. engine dress up kit. Ford-O-Matic transmission. nbsp; Air Conditioning. and a very rare dealer installed performance accessory. The famous Dual Quad set up featuring twin four barrel carbs.    One look at this car and you can tell that this was an extremely high quality and thorough restoration. This car is 100% rust free and looks and drives excellent!!! Everything on this car has been touched. painted. coated. chromed. polished etc. The cost of the restoration far exceeds the asking price of the car. The car was restored about 25 years ago and was the part of a very prominent Arizona collector who owned many Automotive related businesses. The car has been kept in doors at all times and was basically part of a museum like collection. Everything on the car shows practically like a new car. except for the paint. The paint while beautifully done has started to "shrink" in a couple of places on the car. With a re-freshened paint job this car would be absolutely stunning and could easily be one of the finest Thunderbirds in the country. This car has been very well cared for and it shows. Exterior: This beautiful T-Bird looks great finished in Fiesta Red. complete with contrasting white Port-hole hard top. Continental kit. Kelsey Hayes wire wheels finished with classic Firestone White Wall tires.   As previously mentioned. this car was the subject of a thorough multiple year rotisserie restoration and the car is as nice on the underside of the car as it is on top. The restoration was done about 25 years ago and the car has only really been outside for car shows and judging. As previously mentioned the cars paint does have some shrinking in a few areas. The car could easily continue on with this paint and look very nice. The real value in this purchase is that the restoration was done to extremely high standards and with a fresh exterior paint job the car would look as if it just got off the rotisserie. The paint job on the car was very high quality.   The entire car was completely disassembled and cleaned and stripped to the bare metal. The result is incredibly impressive. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine.   When the car was  painted. it was done properly and professionally.     This is a 100% rust free car.   All of the chrome is in excellent condition and looks absolutely beautiful. The underside and engine bay were given the appropriate inspection markings just as when the car left the factory on in 1956.

Interior: The beautiful two tone Red and White interior of this Thunderbird is like new and in pristine condition. Every panel inside the car has been refinished or replaced. The interior is virtually faultless despite being 25 years ago. The front seats. door panels and dash are like new and in excellent shape and are free of stains and tears. When the seats were reupholstered all of the foam was replaced as well. The carpet is like new and in excellent shape. The headliner and door panels are also in excellent condition and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad is in excellent condition and is free of cracks etc.    The gauge bezel. lens and glove box door are all like new and finish the dash beautifully. All of the beautiful trim the is in excellent condition and is like new. The clock. radio. tach. horn. lights etc. are all in great working order!  Every courtesy light. every gauge etc. are all in great working order.   Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to be.

Engine: The 312 ci Y-Block V8 engine fires right up and runs like a top. This engine. like the rest of the car. was the subject of a thorough and complete rebuild and the engine runs incredibly smooth. The engine and engine bay appear to be 100% factory correct (minus the presence of A/C) complete with the great looking Thunderbird engine dress up kit and the fantastic dual quad carb set up.   The car's transmission was rebuilt at the same time and has seen "more time than miles. "  The transmission shifts great and the power steering is nice and smooth. Actually the power steering on this car is really nice. much nicer than some of the later Fords with power steering. The car runs nice and cool. even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The power brakes stop the car incredibly well.   All of the lights. signals. wipers etc. are in great working order. This is a great driving Thunderbird that is truly turn-key and can just be driven and enjoyed. This really is a great car to spend time in!

Thunderbirds that are finished to this incredible level of restoration are tough to find and typically run FIFTY plus thousand dollars.   Lots of love. attention to detail and money have been poured into this car. As a result. this car looks and drives beautifully.   The Thunderbird is an American icon and is getting more and more collectible and as a result. they are investment grade automobiles. This particular car is no exception and is a true Blue Chip investment. The beauty of this investment is that you get to DRIVE and enjoy your investment instead of asking your stock broker about how your investment is doing.
